I question the accuracy of that picture. I know for a fact fetuses at 22 weeks are substantially more developed than that, and I would suspect that diagram appears to be about 2 to 3 weeks behind. I know fetuses can develop at slightly different rates though. This fetus came out at 21 weeks: https://www.today.com/health/born-21-weeks-she-may-be-most-premature-surviving-baby-t118610
I have seen web sites that state you can hear a heart beat at 3 weeks old and even people have said they could hear the heart beat. If it is breathing oxygen from the host and it is developing body parts and limbs then it is a living thing and to murder another human being is a sin according to God. They don't seem to care about the right's of God's children. We don't have a right to play God and babies deserve a right to live.
I wouldn't mind if it was just happening at 8 weeks, but these people are advocating abortion at 15-20 weeks and don't even consider 23 weeks to be a "late-term" abortion.
The Carnegie stages are used throughout medical texts It is a standard graphic and I chose that one as many do not have the days just the stage of development From UNSW Embryology department https://embryology.med.unsw.edu.au/embryology/index.php/Embryonic_Development
I know. I remember Hillary Clinton saying it was ok to murder a baby less than 10 days before it is born and so many on the left supported her. It is sad to see so many people in this country thinking it is ok to murder a living breathing child of God. The left makes us conservative Christians the bad people but in reality they only care about themselves and don't care about anyone else's life that they screw up. Time for bed. I had enough of the liberal left for one night.
Are they Embryology websites? It is NOT "breathing oxygen"! Here educate yourself with some solid medical FACTS! https://embryology.med.unsw.edu.au/embryology/index.php/Embryonic_Development
Here are some actual pictures of fetuses. Warning: some may find these pathology pictures disturbing https://www.humpath.com/spip.php?article2888 As you can see, they don't line up with those Carnegie stages of fetal development diagram posted by Bowerbird. 14 week miscarried fetus, it has facial features: https://mb.ntd.tv/inspiring/parenti...-14-week-miscarried-baby-obviously-human.html
I understand that part but it is still not fair to us men who may want that child born so we can raise it and give it a good loving life since we helped create it with our sperm. Anyways I am done for the night.
You can't be alive without oxygen and you said yourself it gets it's air from the host so it is still breathing or absorbing air. There would be no life on earth without oxygen and same goes for babies. Getting it from the host is still getting air regardless.
And how often does that happen? How many women go through eight plus months of pregnancy only to decide to terminate days before the end? It is just nipot logical unless........ There is a very very powerful reason why and the overwhelming reason is this Don't be frightened it is actually a pro life video and does not advocate abortion
Aaaaarrrrrrgh! Ignorance I can cope with wilful........... https://embryology.med.unsw.edu.au/embryology/index.php/Respiratory_System_Development
FoxHastings said: ↑ Uh DUH, someone took her kid....good gawd you don't think that's a violation of rights??!!!! Who TF else owns it? YOU? The doctor? OK, another Anti-Choicer who can't answer questions but I'll answer their's because I HAVE the answers You have the right to your sperm. Did you want the right to force a woman to have an abortion? And , please, you "helped create" it ..C'mon (pardon the pun) you had a few seconds of pleasure. Uh, is women who it will affect for the rest of her life...
Oh, did you want women's toilets monitored with cameras to prove it was or did you want to check yourself since OBVIOUSLY you seem to be an expert on menstruation...!!! And BABIES are developed at 4 weeks, they've been fully developed and BORN. A fetus isn't , YOU can't change science...and IT DOESN'T MATTER if a four week fetus can sit up, play Dixie on a flute, compute your taxes , and Skype it STILL isn't born and has no rights and certainly shouldn't be given Extra rights like you want to give it..
. What is this thing with you where you state the obvious...uh, duh, living things need oxygen....WHY do you keep saying that? What has it got to do with women's right to their own bodies? Or anything else? YES, a fetus is doing something NO one else is allowed to do …..use another's body to sustain it's life. If it is ever deemed a legal person, women have all the more reason to remove the parasite......(Now here is where Anti-Choicers start screaming, "You called that precious life a parasite!!" Yes, because science, (that scary thing), deems it a parasite..it lives off another entity.....which NO other person is allowed to do...
HEY, Like some Anti-Choicers promote as an alternative to abortion.... ….ADOPTION!!! ADOPT A KID! ...and give it a good loving life and be glad it wasn't aborted...adopt !!
9 months of pregnancy with the pain, discomfort, and illnesses, the temporary and PERMANENT physical damage, the loss of money, medical bills, possible complications that are not only painful but costly, the possible job loss, educational/career setbacks... Trust me, many women would love to give men the opportunity to see what they're missing! Ya know, Have REAL EQUAL rights... Take your pity party elsewhere.
That's what this is really about (highlighted in bold) The woman doesn't feel she should have any setbacks.
Gee, it's a wonder any woman would chose to be pregnant at all. Maybe these poor impoverished women you're talking about should be sterilized to save them the trouble.
It's interesting how Progressives view abortion. It's almost like when it comes to the issue of abortion they do a complete 360 from the views they normally hold. Where's the heart, the touchy-feely empathy? Why isn't the fetus entitled to the woman's money and resources? If it was a privileged white upper middle class woman would that change anything?
