Except they get hearings... they're held until the hearings since they're not likely to show the **** back up if you let them out.

Didn't you say that he was responsible for the MAGA bomber's actions?

Oh gosh that's right... if they eventually get hearings then they can be treated any way trump wants.

Just taking up the 1st definition chief. Also they can leave when they want, ie self deport so it's not a concentration camp at all. It's a holding facility pending immigration hearings.

That doesn't justify the inhumane treatment that is akin to torture. You're justifying crime.

Dude... they can leave any time, the facilities are far over crowded this has been known for some time yet funding for more facilities and more courts to process faster have consistently been denied, we broadcast that internationally to include our highest officials BEGGING them to stop coming because we can't house them, and yet here they are still.

Dude, they are escaping threats to their lives and to their kids' lives. So where are they to go?

Show me reliable proof that Democrats have denied or blocked funding for providing humane conditions. This is all happening because trump created it. One way is his "rule" that says coming to our border is a "crime". BULLSHIT!

The majority of them are economic migrants. That's not a claim for asylum. There is a line. Use the line.

Uh have you not been around the past few years? They've turned down more than one. Use google, it won't burn you

That's not true. She said they are concentration camps. Than others made the weird extension to nazi's and concentration camps and so the Holocaust. The US had concentration camps before. And these camps the US got now for immigrants are on par with that. So Cortez made a correct observation.

Except they're not: You can leave these camps at will and they have an actual legal process to process any claims and get you out of there.
The camps from WW2 you're talking about contained US citizens accused of no crime who were to be held indefinitely. Bit different

Seeking a favorable opportunity to work and earn a living isn't a crime. Or at least it wasn't until trump made it one.

Jesus Christ. No its not, entry without inspection is the crime. Its been a crime since before Trump's administration. For the love of God do you understand how foolish you sound when you make up things like that?

Trump changed the law to say coming to our border is a crime.

And none of those people crossed illegally if we ignore trump's bullshit law games. NONE were apprehended in other states and cities. Do you have any idea how foolish YOU sound?

Yeah... no he didn't. Its been that way for quite some time.

Without a successful asylum claim its EWI to cross not at a port of entry after inspection and permission. The people in the facilities are those awaiting immigration hearings, some of those are asylum some are standard deportation for visa overstays or crimes committed etc.

They were apprehended in a US state with a southern border of Mexico most of them, having not crossed at a port of entry after permission. If their asylum reasoning is economic, they don't qualify.

They can’t disappear into Mexico or Brazil or any other country? They HAVE TO come here? Oh please. That’s right. We’re the only country that will educate their kids for free. Let them get free healthcare by clogging up an ER. Pop out a baby and you’ll get welfare payments. Just stop it with the “they have no where else to go BS”.

No money? No ID? No entry. Simple.

First, I gotta share your link title joke with you. Your link title says "Is It a Crime to Enter the U.S. Illegally?"
Pretty funny. Maybe it should not be considered a crime to do something that's illegal? LOL!!!!

Those people ALL came here from South American and Central American countries to find a better life. They aren't mainly illegals who have been here for ten years and were living in the US already. They went directly from the border to the concentration camps with few exceptions.

You're among those who not so long ago were demanding we round up ALL illegal immigrants without regard for how long they've lived here and what their contribution to society may have been, and ship them all back to Mexico. Now trump has given you a new cause to rant for.

Sure, with the well known example of the Nazi Concentration camp that fed the ovens that murdered 6 million Jews.
Then she can handle the blow back. At our border facilities that she weeps and wails theatrically at, notice that there are no dead rotten maggot infested rats falling through the ceiling and exploding on children's desks like is occurring in the public schools in AOC's district?

People LITERALLY ask that question. FFS yesterday you were claiming it had started with trump. There's a joke there, but its not the one you think.

"find a better life" isn't an applicable cause for asylum under the law. Therefore any entry, for any purpose, under that reasoning is Entry Without Inspection, a misdemeanor 1st offense a felony thereafter.

And they can go directly back to where they came from at any time if they should wish to ergo its not a concentration camp. They're getting hearings and processed, they're fed, housed in AC, given facilities and materials.
Yes, since the places are so ****ing overcrowded because these people are flooding the system after we BEGGED them not to and warned them in advance, those facilities and materials are stretched to the breaking point.
One of the reasons is dems have consistently turned down funding packages the past 3 years.

The US had it's concentration camps during WWII, in the US itself. That Americans don't even know what they did to others in their own country, is of no excuse to think to mentioning a concentration camp must be a reference to a concentration camp half way across the world.

Sounds more like people refuse to accept their own history about concentration camps. Americans did it to the Japanese, and before it during the civil war, and also to the native Americans. All parts of history covered with total shame.
