    Let me correct that headline: Army: Up to 25,000 National Guard in DC for Biden installation

    There ya go.

    Why the need for such protection? If there is such a huge threat then why not look in to what folks are so upset about?

    The answer to the first question is : the election was stolen.

    Massive fraud took place during the last election. There is a mountain of evidence that proves it. From sworn affidavits to videos. Then there are the many ballots that were illegally cast.

    The answer to the second question: this is a total power grab.

    The reason for not looking in to the fraud is because it actually happened. Then if the truth is finally admitted that would mean the power grab would not be possible.

    The military is always used when an illegitimate despot "president" is installed.

    And yet some folks felt the need to "storm the capital"......

    In a free society where there is a democratic system most folks concerns are addressed. Oppression leads to revolution. Hmmm.....funny how that works.

    Why doesn't anyone talk about the massive voter fraud in Florida or Texas or Ohio or Utah or any other state that Trump won?

    The only thing Jan 6th proved is a) Donald Trump has spent every day since the election calling it a fraud without a shred of evidence that would stand up in court and b) he has supporters that are willing g to fight and die to keep him in power.

    Guess what, most folks concerns have been addressed. Unlike 2016 the popular vote lines up with the EC winner. The majority got what they wanted.

    It's not revolution going on here. It's straight up terrorism. These domestic terrorist have been lied to, they are of lower intelligence (Lauren Boebert), and lack critical thinking skills. They c have zero understanding of basic civics. They can't even tell you what speech is free from.

    Thus we need the military to stop there brand of terrorism. The judicial needs to root out these extremist before we become Iran.

    Too bad the evidence from Florida and other states is not real. If it were so there would be no need for troops in DC. Folks would not be as angry because the election would not look as one sided. I do not remember Trump flooding DC with the military for his inauguration.

    Prolly because he was inaugurated and not installed.

    They have been addressed, but courts don't always use easy to understand language... I understand your frustration..

    People are upset because they have been conned. Sadly, Trump has proved just how easy and financially rewarding it can be. The best thing about being conned is that no matter what facts are presented, you can just dig deeper into conspiracy theories because you don't have to ever prove them. Actually they can never be proven as the courts, GA republican election officials, and the actual real (not alternative facts) showed

    Ah, but you have to see how he is learning.... This thread TITLE is a perfectly valid current events title, but he segues to his 'boo-hoo election stolen' BS grievance in line 2 of the OP post.
