Ya know what's messed up, oregon state is in a huge fight with land locked coal states like Wyoming and North Dakota, they dont want them to use there ports to sell coal to China.

Ya never have, if you did you would get the Nobel prize..

We will never be able to have data today how much is natural variation and how much is man made.

    To many variables my friend.

Off topic.... I have also been thinking about fresnel lenses to melt glass. Got to hit the thrift stores for the lenses to play with.

It should be painfully obvious by now that man is having a negative effect on the climate. This is not natural it is man made. Sure there are variables as with most things.

I just picked up a Ming dragon vase worth over a thousand bucks. But an expert would have to confirm it. My wife and I collect glass and old stuff.

    Didn’t read it did you?

This is becoming a “one trick pony” where I post data and you pull out one word

You haven’t studied the science have you?

Well, even though this has nothing to do with climate change man has a great effect on his environment. The Grand banks once had so many Cod fish that they slowed sailing ships coming across the ocean. The " forest primeval" in the Midwest is now corn and soybean fields. The Longleaf pine ... the tree the Brittish claimed for shipbuilding is nearly extinct. I could go on.

    One trick pony?

We dont have the data, we need at least another 200 years.. proxys are bullshit, we only have accurate data to go back to the 1980s and ocean temperature data to go back to the late 1990s..

Everything else is Al Gore and Naomi Klein.

I get what your saying, it gets hot man made climate change, it gets cold man made climate change, Ohio river combustible bust into flames man made climate change.

You are correct. But what effect do you think a billion cars and trucks do to the environment?

    Pollution?

I don't disagree, I just want to know the key how much is it natural variation and how much is it deforestation and fossil fuels..

It drives me nuts saying it's all contributed to us, if it is what are we supposed to do ?

I studied both the science and politics, but more fascinated in how the politics screwed it all up since 1972
