Federal and state prosecutors ( trump aids are looking at both) win 90% of their cases that go to trial, that’s why there’s so many plea bargains. The defendants stand such a good chance of losing. 90% go to plea bargain and those that are left for trial, 90% are found guilty.

I guess you haven’t been following his indictments. The republicans investigated Hillary 6 separate times for 6 years and indicted no one. Besides, Trumps offenses along with his admistration are on going. He’ll never stop his criminal activity till he leaves office. But of course, if you only watch Faux News, you’d think Mueller was playing golf every day.

 

Scott Pruitt has shafted we tax payers enough to cover Mueller three times over. According to Trump, he’s doing a fantastic job.

A guilty plea only establishes the defendant's opinion of the value of fighting the charges.

Thanks for that. My search came up with no results mentioning convictions. Even though the blurb failed to mention who, or for what, these convictions were obtained, at least the word is in there.

Trump is going into negotiating North Korea’s nuclear weapon program. He has NO SCIENCE advisor, no nuclear physicist on board and no one with the expertise in negotiating a high technology solution to NKs program. Of course, No. Korea will have access to an appropriate science person.

A plea of guilty results in a conviction just as if a person was found guilty after a trial.
The guilty party has the same offense on his record whether it was attained by a trial or plea bargain. It is treated like a CONVICTION in which the defendant pleads guilty or no contest.

 

All well and good, but it doesn't speak to the quality of the evidence. It only speaks to the defendant's unwillingness to fight the charges.
