If Trump has business interests in Russia and has borrowed from Russian Oligarchs, they might call in the loans. It would be in Trump's
interest not to upset the applecart since Putin can make life in Russia very uncomfortable for Trump, yes?

I have news for you, 'truth' and 'facts' are not propaganda. Lies are!

I thought it was because Trump didn't want to go along with the one world government/order freaks who hate Russia for not going along with the one world government/order freaks? Thanks for telling us otherwise. Gosh, what would we do without you?

How about feeling sorry for the Russians in the Baltic nations who are living on their ancestral lands and are now under an apartheid system and being treated as third class citizens? Or for the Russian peace keepers and people in S. Ossetia who were killed when Sashkavili invaded and bombed?

Oh that's right I forgot. Russian people are the new 'untermenchens'. So when will the concentrations camps be ready?

The Soviet Union was a one world system and did not believe in nations, so they readjusted the borders to suit them. Because of this, 20 million Russians found themselves living outside the borders of Russia when the Soviet Union broke up. Russia is underpopulated so Putin has offered free land to any Russia or Slav who wants to move there - but they don't want to leave their ancestral lands. It is their home.

Ukraine and the Baltic nations could have solved the problems if they wanted to, but their greed won't allow it.

For one, they could have done what Russia did and allowed the different areas to hold referendums as to which nation they wanted to be with when the USSR broke up. Russia gave Ukraine and the Baltics that choice, but they are not willing to give that choice to the areas in their countries where the Russians live.

Or they could have done what Russia did again, and bettered the condition of the Russian population, that way they would want to remain within the borders of the new country they found themselves in. Instead they are being treated poorly to force them to leave.

In other words those nations want is to hold on to lands that was never theirs in the first place, yet they want the Russians who are living there to leave. It's this greed that
Washington is manipulating - and it's this greed that will destroy them in the end.

The truth is the whole, not a smattering of data that has been cherry-picked to back a dictator’s position.

Who's the dictator? The one who rid his nation of criminals that stole billions as the people starved, and made it a world power again, or the one who has a 8% approval rating and was put in by a foreign power and turned a wealthy land into the poorest in Europe - while making billions on the side.

I think you're confused, but then again it's a common illness around here.

Let me end your confusion. Vladimir Putin is not willing to go along with the liberal one world order of Soros and his Washington cronies. Russia already suffered 70 years under a similar world system with the Soviet Union. Yet Russia has 30% of the world's natural resources, and without those resources there can be no one world order as it is envisioned by the Washington ideologues.

The hope was that Trump being the egoist he is, would be able to fight Soros and the rest of them, but they're giving him a hard time - as you can see.

I guess that is one way of looking at it but doesn't Putin long for the days of the old Soviet Union? My view makes sense. Trump
needs to be careful lest he is exposed for his business practices. Is it possible that you are confused? Naah.

Ah, the collectivist spin, arrest the productive, steal their wealth, siphon it into offshore accounts, and then whitewash your theft with an altruistic brush. Good job. Tip of the hat.

You have to listen to what Putin actually says, and not the conclusions by the MSM. He once said that the break up of the USSR was the worse thing of the last century, but he said it in reference to the 20 million Russians that found themselves living outside the Russia Federation. He also said that anyone who doesn't reminisce about the Soviet Union has no heart, but anyone who wants it back has no brains.

What I think he hoped for was a return to the original Russian Empire before the Mongolian invasion when there was a loose union of Slavic states under the Kiev and now the Moscow Patriarchate. He is offering free land to any Russian or Slav descendant that wants to retain their culture and heritage.

Anyway why would Russia want to expand into Europe? At one time they did need the coal in the Donbas area, but the coal they now have in the Urals is much superior. As for the rich black earth in Ukraine, it doesn't matter anymore, Russia has developed wheat that can grow in colder climates so that now it's the largest exporter of wheat in the world - beating out the US and Canada.

Anyway thanks to the sanctions, they were able to ban European food products and have developed their own so they are totally self sufficient.

As for all this hype and Russophobia, it's coming mostly from Britain I think. I don't know what goes on in their minds. They allowed all the Russian criminals who were kicked out to go there so they can grab their money and now they want to kick them out. Maybe they pulled out their money with Brexit, who knows?

We have a rule, and it's a good one.
Most borders of the world we established with bloodshed.
Let's respect the borders as we find them today.

Because if one nation feels it wants to change borders, then
all nations should be able to change their borders - with blood.

That goes for Crimea, Taiwan, South China Seas, Kurile Islands,
    Texas, Poland................................................................................

The US military presence in Ukraine is a bluff, and the Russians probably suspect as much. If the Russians invade Ukraine, we're going to enter a stronger war footing in NATO countries, but we're going to abandon Ukraine.

Many in Russia see the failure of democracy throughout the world, and the corruption of the politicians and want a better system. I personally see them as sociopaths, otherwise they wouldn't be doing what they do.

What kind of system though? There's one popular priest in Russia that thinks a non hereditary monarch like in the Byzantine Empire would be the best.

What some Russians see as a "failure" of democracy others see
as a necessary feature, ie the tolerance of viewpoints you don't
like, and the raucous debates that ensue.
The real failure is the failure of dictatorship.

Some Russians saw the "failure" of capitalism too. The ups and
downs of the economy, the concentration of capital into fewer
hands etc.. But we see these as features of capitalism, not its
failure. The real failure became the Russian economy which
consolidated the worst aspects of capitalism.

You're right about the blood, and we've been seeing it these past years especially in Syria with Washington using the terrorists as a front to occupy and grab the oil and gas rich lands east of the Euphrates.

I recall people saying that the invasion of Iraq was "about oil."
So after the war I checked up on who actually got the Iraq oil
contracts. It was France and China.
That information wasn't readily given by the Socialist Press,
    BTW.
So if you say that America got involved in Syria for the oil then
all I can say is that you show the evidence.
Is there oil in Ukraine? Is that why Russian "volunteers" are
    invading the country?

According to Greekpronews, a foreign non MSM news site, there is war talk going on all over Ukraine and Russia. The belief is that Ukraine will conduct a false flag attack to get foreign support. To be honest, I think that Nato and Washington is behind this to test Russia's military capabilities as well as to embroil Russia in a war.

    On the religious front:

Poroshenko has now created his own Orthodox Church of the Poroshenko Patriarchate, and the US embassy has warned Americans to stay inside for fear of religious riots. The harrassments of Russian priests and confiscations of churches has started a la 'Soviet Union style'.

    On the military front:

Poroshenko is on one of his: Let's murder our own people spree, and wants ships to be prepared to cross the Kerch straits as well as 90 hospitals with 41,000 beds to be on hand. There are 12,000 soldiers with battle tanks and ROPs Grad, Uragan, Smerch have been flown into Mariupol. The Ukrainians are in Novotroitskoye, Shirokino, Rovnopol, just outside the "contact line" with the Republics. .

NATO has agreed with Kiev to support logistics in the upcoming crisis and provide Command, Control, Coordination & Communications equipment.

Ukraine has locked Mariupol and Odessa with S-300 missile defense systems. These are the two cities with a large Russian population. They are also the cities that the militias were going to free from the junta had Putin not closed the border when Poroshenko surrendered and forced them to go to Minsk. Big mistake on Putin's part, and it cost thousands of lives.

    Yeah, like NATO, and stuff!

Good logic, with tons of facts to support it!

Putin murders journalists and steals from his own people.

First of all, Russia's economy is teetering on collapse already. The only thing that keeps Putin in power is propaganda. He needs an enemy to divert the attention from what is happening in Russia. The value of the Ruble is falling through the floor. The retirement age has been raised to higher than what life expectancy is. Interest rates are through the roof. The Russian people are living on little more than starvation wages.

Under Obama he was given free reign to do as he pleased. Now he is feeling the squeeze. The new sheriff doesn't turn a blind eye to his shenanigans. He didn't ignore the gassing of civilians in Syria. He blew the crap out of his main air base. He slaughtered the troops who were sent to avenge this. Putin now has hopes of looting his neighbors. Trump is not going to let this happen. Russia's dilapidated military would be hard pressed in a war against an American backed Ukraine. Putin is not going to risk that humiliation and Trump knows it. His only hope is that the limp wrist liberals force Trump to back off.
