No doubt it appears so to people who somehow imagine that records fromt the days when nobody gave a damn about ocean temps can be reasonably compared with records from the post-ARGO period.

There are other ways to piece together ancient climate records than bouys and satellites. How do do think we know there was runaway CO2 and global warming during say the Permo-Triassic extinction?
    :roflol:

This isn't the first website I've been to or the first of these types of discussions I've had with people who hang around websites like WUWT and think they know more than the world's climate scientists.:)

I've heard most of these arguments before.

What and still can't effectively rebut them?

The whole basis of climate science is in the software models and last count I believe there are about 30 of them. If the science is settled, there would be just one software model and it would be accurate which none of these models are.

Yep, that is why the 'definition' of climate sensitivity has not changed throughout all the IPCC reports. One would think that after all this time and billions of dollars spent on it they could narrow it down a bit.

So what do you have that convinces you AGW is wrong? Because they have an awful lot of data that supports them, or doesn't supporting data mean anything either

Which data? The data that supports the dogma or the data that doesn't?

Purposefully didn't "smooth" the "heat bloom" data from the heat islands... Typical sloppy science, and breathless reporting. Explain why, when not associated with a heat island, temps for those locations isn't rising, and is, generally falling across N America? ( I use this data set because it is likely the most controlled and homogenous..)

Both. Do you have data that denies global warming?

LOL, evidently you are only aware of what the media tells you and not the science otherwise you would know what I am talking about.

Sorry, I am not your nanny and I also cannot force you to be actually curious about the science.

Your spelling on "I don't really know any but I just pulled this bs from my nether regions" is a little off.

Thanks for proving my point. I can't spend my time explaining a very complex issue to those that wish to stay ignorant of the science.

And thank you for proving mine. I didn't ask that you explain anything. I asked you to cite what you said you knew.

You realize that you're in the "critical thinking free zone" as soon as they demand you do the work for them....

And you realize that somebody has just been trying to "baffle you with bullshit' when they reply with insults when you ask them to explain what they themselves just said

Fun stuff.. You asked if I could explain it. I can. Does that mean you want me to explain it to you? Is that what you're asking for?
