I think he’s referring to 2009. Remember the classic four Pinocchio “If you like your doctor...” and ‘the ACA will save $2500 per year’.

Well the SBS article didn't include the term, "global warming", so what was I supposed to think?

I'll just tell them the fires, like the polar ice caps not melting, and every other failed doomsday prediction was just another example of climate change not doing what the warmertards wanted.

California fires are worse because of climate change, where people build, an unwillingness to set aside land for firebreaks, and an unwillingness to pay for fire prevention. OTOH, where I grew up in Palos Verdes, the city said all brush had to be cleared and did its part by clearing all public lands. Private owners got a notice posted on their property and within a week the city cut the brush. You were out of town and didn't see the notice? Too bad, pay up, anyway. Palos Verdes doesn't have a lot of bad fires:

Australia--and a lot of places in California--need to also take climate change into account when preventing major fires.

Of course climate change is responsible. Twenty thousand years ago my place was covered by the Laurentide ice sheet and no alfalfa or weeds grew at all. :) I like it better now, even with the occasional fire.

A nut and/or criminal. Either way, we're well advised to hunt them down, lock them up, and keep them locked up.

From as soon as the GOP turned to "fixing" healthcare in Trump's first year to now.

I understood from a very young age because my mother was involved in setting up the program I described in Palos Verdes.

Droughts are a weather phenomenon. Global warming has nothing to do with them. They have been occurring in California on a regular basis for centuries.

Clearly you have no idea about the drought years followed by monsoon like rain years which occur in California. That cycle has nothing to do with global warming.

Again no information on where these pictures come from and when they were taken. In any event what is seen is frost heaving. It has nothing to do with permafrost.

I was talking about what Palos Verdes did to deal with fire prevention because you were complaining about fire prevention efforts in California. It wasn't about global warming in the 1950s.

Spare me a lecture on what you know not.
