Why is it, that anywhere you go where there is a HIGH percentage of Black People, CRIME! is also extremely HIGH! Doesn't matter whether it's in the United States, France, Sweden, England, Somalia, Continent of Africa, the Media loves to try and make it sound Racist for simply wanting to discuss why Black Communities are breeding grounds for Criminal Behavior. I grew up in a nice Neighborhood that was predominantly White and it was literally like Mr Rogers Neighborhood, now it's a Shithole, since it has a large percentage of Black people that have moved there. Come on! it doesn't take a Rocket Scientist to see that the Criminal is driving the Car ( Weapon ) directly at the Officer telling him to stop. It's really simply for Criminals to prevent their Death, just comply to the Law Officers demands.

 

I won't judge until I see proof, a cop jumping in front of a moving car is the fault of the cop, not the one driving the car

we know the criminals did wrong, if the cops made a good shoot, that still remains to be determined, sure the cop cams will show one way or the other

that is why this is being investigated, we don't know yet

 

This is a very sad thread. These young men, now dead, demonstrated their willingness to die in their actions and somehow someone wants to question the actions of the police here?

Two individuals attempting to bring deadly harm to police officers are dead because of the actions they took all on their own! The video shows that.

 

I saw the video, thanks Libby for posting it. They were told by the cops repeatedly to stop and they accelerated towards the general direction of the cop. I see posters and the cops claim they tried to run over the cop, but I don't think that's true. You clearly see the car making a hard turn and its trajectory going on the left of the cop. I'm pretty sure they just tried to flee by taking the street on the left.

However, these guys had guns in the car. If the cops just let the car go and told others to intercept that car somewhere else, the other cops would be in danger. So I understand the decision to shoot.

yep, if the cop cam shows that, they will be fine

now if the cop jumped in front of the car and put himself in danger, that changes things, as then the suspects were not trying to kill the cop

just saw the video, the driver did not try to run over the cop, in fact it was clear from the cop cam the driver was trying to avoid the cop by that hard turn right

so the self defense is bs.... now, you can say the cop shot them to stop them from getting away, but this was not self defense as the cops life was not in danger

I agree with the above poster, had the cops parked behind the car, this all could have been prevented by either the cops or the suspects... both sides could of handled this better and changed the outcome

 

Well! then you need to go and look at the Video, The Cop is standing there telling the Criminals to stop and then they start driving towards him.

yes, the criminals were shot trying to get away, not good and can get you killed, but let's stick to the truth, not exaggerate it like they were trying to murder the cop.... as that did not happen

I think it will be declared a good shoot, but I think the cops could have acted different to prevent this from happening, such as parking behind the car from the get go

by the same respect, the suspects could have obeyed the cops and still been alive to have their day in court

 

All these Armchair Quarterbacks that think they have all the answers in a Split second life or Death situation. Had you been the Cop in that video, you'd either be Dead or the Criminals would have gotten away to murder someone with those Illegal Guns like they always do.

I trust that a thorough investigation will reach an acceptable conclusion.

 

this was not a life or death situation, the cop cam proves that

this was two suspects resisting arrest and trying to flee and the cop shot them to stop them......

both sides could have done things differently to prevent this outcome

cops need to learn from their mistakes, and people need to learn to obey the cops

 

no one is defending the suspects here... they brought this on themselves (well at least the driver)

that said, pointing out the mistakes of the cops is also valid, parking behind the suspects' car could have prevented this outcome
