You are just repeating yourself in a different way

    Face it

You expect Americans to work for slave wages or not work at all nust so you can drive a cheaper car

And you are just flapping away about the obvious. I don't expect anything. I am explaining to you why companies move. I expect
that our companies need to be competitive to survive, and you don't get it. When GM controlled the new car market in the 1060s and there were no imports, the quality of US products stunk. Those days are over. If you eliminate imports like you want to do, the cost to
you will skyrocket, the quality will take a nosedive, and you will not be a happy camper.

Nah, but they are certainly jumping into the void that Trump has created with his protectionist policies, and Europe is on board with it.

Putting tariffs on imported products from china will end the need for Americsn corporations to leave America

How do you think it will affect product quality?

    ,
They left once already and what is left will probably move. Many are already leaving. Boeing, Carrier, Ford, GM, GE, Harley---thanks to high costs and tariffs. Trump is picking on GM for making a business decision, especially when the plant is down to one shift. Are they to stay open when there are no shifts? Stupid.

Then we need to export more to reduce that deficit, yes? BMW exports many autos now, but if their costs skyrocket they will not be able to continue.

If globalusts continue to export American jobs what are average workers supposed to do?

Maybe they can earn a few Yuan pulling rickshaws for chinese tourists

You have already made the argument that American workers are paid too much to export very much to china

It is a tough situation, no doubt. American manufacturers can't sustain life if they don't have the funds. They can't give what they don't have. Hammering China will only chase that country into the waiting arms of Europe, who are looking for new partners, economically and politically, thanks to Trump's protectionist policies.
The coal industry is an example of Trump's ignorance. He is trying to resurrect a dead horse to keep a promise that he arbitrarily made
without any thought in order to bring votes.

I made the argument that costs are too high. You fill in the blanks. When high school dropouts make $100,000 per year, the equation
will eventually have to change. You can't have it all ways.

We have full employment, do we not? Who would take all those factory jobs?

So you are saying we should give away the rest of our manufacturing to china or else the spineless euros will not be our friends anymore?

If we lose all our industrial base to china the euros will not need us or want us anyway

As for coal its suffering because obama spent 8 years trying to kill it through the EPA for sake of polar bears

Now trump is trying to save whats left

We are always going to have high school dropouts

Do you want to just give them welfare their whole lives?

You are afraid to say it so I say it for you

You want Americans to work for the same low wages workers get in china or india

Which is the basic nature of globalism

Obama did not kill the coal industry. Alternative clean energy did. Get real.
I am saying that we need to be competitive so that our manufacturing can survive. If Europe looks elsewhere, and they are, your living costs won't go up a little. They will skyrocket due to lack of competition. You keep repeating the same rhetoric. Just use a little common sense.
We have a problem and have had this problem for 40 years. Don't 'cut off your nose to spite your face'. The Japanese showed up because they could compete favorably in our markets.

Do you know how much $100,000 is? High school dropouts making that much will surely drive a company out. Of course, it isn't coming out of your pocket or you wouldn't be so willing to pay it. It is ok for the other guy, yes?

    You are the one dreaming

It was obama and the epa who forced coal burning plants to close and were paying Americans to buy alternative energy and electric cars

I guess the "stable" manufacturing economy wasn't stable in the long run, yes?

    Right

You think $20,000 is more reasonable for American workers to make in order to compete with Untouchables in india and coolies in china

But since globalists also support open borders most of those jobs go to immigtants and illegal aliens instead of Americans anyway

    Everything you believe is wrong
