Unlike you I have a doctorate degree in the field of law and have made numerous posts in support of the 2d Amendment. Ask any of your fellow right wingers here or click search for proof.

    lol!

If background checks can exist and be enforced with regard to firearm purchases, there is no reason for the same legal standard to not be applied to the act of voting as well.

Obama has a law degree and he thought the Australian style mandatory buy back would be a good idea for America. A law degree is meaningless unless you use it to uphold the law. America is not upholding the constitution in regard to the right to bear arms. California worst offender of all.

Washington state Sheriffs get it and are Refusing to enforce that states new unconstitutional gun laws.

A degree in law does not mean anything of actual relevance. It does not make the position of yourself anymore valid or superior to the position of anyone else.

I know a number of people with law degrees that aren't qualified to change the air in your tires.

And,for the record... Obama was a "Senior Lecturer" at U of Chi.
Not associate professor, not assistant professor, not professor - not even adjunct professor - but "Senior Lecturer".
If you've been to college, you know the difference, and if a "Senior Lecturer" puts "Professor" on his resume, he's lied

Yes, I'm sure you are well qualified to give lectures on constitutional law, legal history, and can analyze the writings of Lawrence Tribe. In fact, it is highly likely that a group of lawyers could learn a great deal from you.

    Really.

When one operates from the position of logic and facts, devoid of loyalty to the political ideology of either group, a great deal can indeed be learned.

Indeed. Right wingers should learn to keep an open mind so that they can become enlightened as to the TRUTH.

Both sides of the political divide are idiots who would not truly recognize and acknowledge the truth if they were confronted by it. Those on the right side of the divide, those on the left side of the divide. Conservatives, liberals, it makes no difference. Both sides are equally idiotic when left to their own devices and refuse to work together. Whether it is Barack Obama or Donald Trump, it makes no meaningful difference. The only true difference between either party is exactly which topic their stupidity is more prevalent in.

In my experience, lefties are far more open minded than are righties.

Then why are conservative individuals being kicked off of services such as facebook and twitter, and thus making their position less visible to the public?

Can't see this holding up to challenge, especially if the 9th is turning into a real court again...

Different issues entirely. American gun owners do not oppose restrictions on illegal aliens purchasing guns. Simply proving citizenship or proper residence within a state or district is not the same as creating a registry via a 'background' check, regardless of denial of the government doing just that. Nobody is asking for background checks for voting, merely proof of citizenship. Typical of the left to obscure or otherwise use dishonesty to present their 'case'...

Good point, more so when one considers the owners and gatekeepers of those platforms are alt-leftists.

I guess it could be said that doing so is not being "truthful."

So do I, and your support of the second amendment seems a bit tenuous.

Not really, both groups are pretty close-minded. Try to talk to a lefty about a compromise on a topic they truly believe in, and you'll realize they are no more open-minded than righties.

The anti-gun left demands compromise from the pro-gun side all the time; when doing so, they -never- offer anything in return.
Thus, they demand not compromise, but acquiescence.
