Sure the last two both which eliminated millions at the bottom of any tax liability at all and the highest earners not only paid a LOT more in revenue but a larger share of the tax burden. As it is the top 1% pay about 40% of income taxes and the top 20% pays about 80% while the bottom 50% pays virtually nothing. So how have Republican been "throwing money" at rich people again?

OK so what? If people are not using their labor and energy and intelligence to create something of wealth, are just given money then wealth is not created just spread around. The economy doesn't grow and the value of our economy doesn't increase. Broken window fallacy. We just don't need consumers, we need workers who can create wealth and earn income not sit around doing nothing but spending other people's money. And it takes capital investment to create the opportunity for those workers to create wealth and income. You seem to not understand that wealthy people don't get wealthy or stay wealthy but sitting on their money, they put it to work in the economy which creates business and jobs.

Lower capital taxation, stop with the overbearing regulations, and get government out of the way. Works every time.

Consumers drive "job creation", not financial hoarders.[/QUOTE]

If they don't have money then they are not rich.

That is not the only factor but the most necessary, it all starts with the capital being available.

Lower capital taxation, stop with the overbearing regulations, and get government out of the way. Works every time.

Gingrich and Kasich and then Bush43. Growing incomes and full employment while the wealthy paid more in taxes and a higher share of taxes and millions in the bottom half had their income tax liability pretty much wiped out.

We have low capital taxation, the wealthy have more money than at any time in history, regulations aren't that overbearing, so where are the jobs? Apparently it doesn't work every time....

Tax cuts benefit everyone who pays taxes.

That's amazingly naive. No wonder you're conservative.

When taxes are cut, isn't it reasonable that those who pay the taxes receive the benefit? People like you want less to pay more so more can pay nothing.

And could be lower and with no threats to raise it, why would raising the rate create jobs?

Every income group has more money than ever so what? There is more money than ever go out earn some of it and create more of it.

More than at anytime in our history.

    See above.

We had the largest liberal Keynesian program in the history of the earth, where were the jobs? Obama increased taxes on the high earners, has spent more of welfare and income transfers than any President in history, where are the jobs?

Apparently, the Alinskyite in Chief doesn't know much about U.S. foreign policy either.

A fool posts a poll from CNN from October 2013 and thinks it's bad news. That's funny.

If I make significantly more than I spend (ie: have a large volume of disposable income), I gain more benefit from a stable government than someone who lives paycheck to paycheck.

    Duh.....

Even the people who live pay check to pay check benefit from a stable government. The entire population benefits from that.

If I am in a national role, I benefit from the nation being stable enough for consumers to spend money on my products/services.
If you work locally, you benefit only from local stability.

The chronic bellywhingers in the GOP have a problem. Not only is the Republican base older, Whiter, and now exclusively "Christian" in Congress, they are becoming a regional party whose strength is largely confined to what FoxBusiness and the Wall Street Journal have reported dominate their listing of the the least-educated states in the union.

Don't know why collectivist European wannabees are preferable to those that understand what made this country great.
