Only in California can a candidate win bigly at the polls on election day and still be defeated by ballot harvesting.

 

As the article in the SF Chronicle quoted on losing candidate, Republicans need to learn "how to work within all of the new rules, same-day voter registration, motor voters,"

First, the Republican Party in California is pathetic. Second, there is nothing to learn. The Progressives in complete control of the State will do everything and anything to achieve total domination. And with like minded people in positions of power, will never be questioned or held accountable.

It's the reason, IMO, there is no hope for California. It is doomed.

 

Ballot Harvesting has been shot down in the courts in other states as illegal because it breaks the ballot chain of custody.

 

And any rational person with integrity can understand why in a millisecond.

But as the Progressives running California have proved over and over, concepts of integrity and honesty are abhorrent to the people who come up with these scams. It's about as corrupt as the process that brought about the "top two" voting scam in California.

Time for the U.S. DOJ to do their job and take a really close look at what has been going on in California especially the state legislature.

– who can vote
– who did vote
– actual ballots as marked by each voter, and
– evidence transfer and storage

 

The Orange County Registrar of Voters reported that on election day individuals were showing up with any where from 100 to 200 ballots and dropping them off.

Long past time, but I won't hold my breath on that ever happening.

Despite 150 years of family residence in this state, I'm looking forward to it's collapse, in hopes it puts an end to the consideration of anything Progressives are proposing on a National level.

I'm torn on this because my brothers a fireman in California and I don't want him to lose his retirement benefits when California goes bust but I don't want to pay for them myself either.

 

Judge: Arizona prohibition on 'ballot harvesting' is legal

PHOENIX — A federal judge upheld an Arizona law that makes it a felony to bring someone else’s early ballot to a polling place.

In an extensive ruling this week, Judge Douglas Rayes said there’s scant evidence the 2016 law will impose a hardship. While a majority of Arizonans now vote with early ballots, he said the vast majority manage to get them turned in without the help of outsiders whose activities are now a crime.

The measure was approved by the Republican-controlled Legislature and signed by Gov. Doug Ducey on the claim that limiting who can handle someone’s ballot will prevent voter fraud. In fact, the judge said, there has “never been a case of voter fraud associated with ballot collection charged in Arizona.” But he added, “The Legislature need not wait until a problem occurs to take proactive steps it deems appropriate.”


He said challengers, led by the Arizona Democratic Party, presented no evidence that the law is more likely to affect minorities than any other voter.

Lawyers for the Arizona Democratic Party and the Democratic National Committee already filed a notice they intend to appeal.

In his 83-page ruling, Rayes also rebuffed the challengers’ bid to force counties to count the votes of those who cast their ballots at the wrong polling place. Democrats have such a stranglehold on this state we may never recover.

They knew very well what would happen when they went to ballot harvests. They also knew who they would block by ranked voting. And who would be blocked due to allowing two of the same party to be the two sole to be voted for in the fall elections.

My son in law retired as a cop and he informed me the funds are backed by investments and are not to be paid by we taxpayers. I would hope the fire departments do the same thing.
