Baltimore state’s attorney blasts police union’s ‘political rhetoric’ after video shows mob attacking officer
"Baltimore’s state’s attorney, Marilyn Mosby, took aim at the city’s police union Saturday after union officials condemned a violent attack Friday night against a city police officer.

Mosby accused the police union of “fanning the very flames they then call on me to put out,” saying union officials responded to the violent attack with “inappropriate political rhetoric.”

A video posted on social media shows a Baltimore police sergeant wrestling on the ground late Friday with a suspect who allegedly spat in the sergeant’s face. The police officer is then repeatedly kicked by bystanders while trying to make the arrest."

I bet there are a lot of people in Baltimore that bemoan the high crime rate. I say Baltimore got what they voted for.

I say the cops needs to stop getting away with murder and they might get more respect. But let's face it cops are humans and fail to police themselves and the mass populace knows it and we are tired of being harassed and abused by people hired to protect us.

They should disband Fire, EMS, and Law enforcement, wall off the city-and let things resolve themselves.

Did the cop in the video murder anyone? It's funny how you guys constantly say that a few bad illegals or Muslims shouldn't ruin things for the ones who aren't, but here you are painting an entire group as being murderers. What about God's perfect people who are kicking the cop while he's down, any thoughts on that?

Edit: on a side note, that TV station didn't appear to be very diverse.

Welcome to 2020, where the police get Rodney Kinged.

    Kidding.

Seriously though, what you observed in that video is the emboldening of people who've been fed a steady diet of anti-police rhetoric, people who've been told the problems they have in life have nothing to do with them, it's everyone and everything else.

I agree with the sentiment of others. Stop policing those areas. Leave them to their own devices. Laugh as they sit around asking "where's the police when you need them?".

I am but one guy I am not a guys and you have never shown me saying that a few bad illegals or Muslim's are OKay M'kay...Those people icking the cop have probably had enough of the bad cops and take it out on the good ones yet the officer in the viddy has yet to be proven good or bad.Yet all civilians are perpsw to cops and sare treated as such along with Constitutional; rights to asset forfeiture abused by cops that are really the enemy.

I have never seen evidence, not once, not a single time, of a cop killing somebody that was following directions, wasn't resisting, wasn't mouthing off, and didn't appear to present a danger to cops.

This idea that people are making contact with a cop and they are pulling out their gun and killing people is completely untrue.

What we have, is a failure of people to respect authority, shut their fricking pie holes, and do what they are told. It really isn't hard. My 7 year old has it figured out already.

It's common for the crowd that can't comprehend personal responsibilty to blame the cops and not the morons that can't keep up with a 7 year old.

Of course, you can prove me wrong by posting one of those videos.

Don't blame me on your blindness.. Oh and screw the pigs...The thieving, murdering sovereign citizens that never ever write themselves a ticket when they break the law nor do they arrest themselves when they commit a felony or misdemeanor crime...
Here is your one example and there plenty more...

Put up or shut up. You know you can't.

Another one that can't comprehend what school children can. Calling them pigs just makes you look ignorant.

Yeah, hundreds of thousands of cops and they are all bad.

    Whatever. Are you 14?

I am old enough to see through the lies they have you believing. But then again you are probably one of them or think they can do as they please in their positions.

The progressive model of policing cities with professional police under the direction and control of corrupt mayors, prosecutors and city councils has failed. PD's need to be replaced by Sheriff's Departments under the direction of elected Sheriffs and deputies from the local jurisdiction.

In the meantime the citizens of Baltimore should be empowered and encouraged to carry firearms.

kool, so you're suggesting that if a group of ordinary folk think/believe that someone is a bad person, then they have the absolute duty (if not an inalienable right) to beat the sh*t out of that person just because that person wears the same clothing and/or does the same job as some other proven bad peeps...

Police officers need to leave cities where they’re mocked and/or assaulted. Just walk away. Let the Democratic areas fend for themselves.

Baltimore voted for their representatives. The collective IQ of Baltimore must be in the crapper if one looks at the people they elect. They have one of the highest murder rates in the country. It must be all that "respect" and consideration they give each other as people. The crime rate is so bad their "crime rate" has it's own wiki page.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crime_in_Baltimore

Baltimore grapples with 'unacceptably high' homicide rate
"With hours still left to go in 2019, there have been 347 homicides in Baltimore this year, the highest per capita in recent years, according to Lester Davis, the mayor's spokesman. The figure also marks five years in a row that the number of homicides has been over 300, according to the Baltimore Sun's homicide database. It's also close to the highest number of homicides ever recorded in the city in one year: 353, in 1993."

You can whine all about that. The fact remains that the cops there are racists. They simply harassed the black community on a regular basis, specifically the poor. With that, they lost all respect of the community. It is what it is.

Oh yeah let's blame it on the police and defend the criminal thugs. What are we going to do when we have no police in our society and these thugs rule the streets?

Why can't you just say those people and anyone who engages in those acts should be arrested and punished. PERIOD, that's all that needs to be said. Why do you have to then point fingers at the police and the President.
