Sorry that you see people who live in trailers as garbage. Quite q prejudiced statement
I hear what you’re saying about clothing. My granddaughter is on a coed volleyball team. The girls shorts are so tight and the boys are so loose and comfortable. But the girls are OK with it Why can’t they wear make up? Why can’t they wear their hair anyway they want?
I guess because you were in extremist you can only see thing in extremes. If somebody gets an athletic scholarship that means that person has to be stupid. My granddaughter s are great athletes and are also straight A’s.

    1) the tight shorts ... that's my point EXACTLY. it's outrageously sexist, and belongs in the last century.
    2) okay, change 'trailer trash' to just 'trash'. either way, cheer leaders look (to many non-Americans) like cheesy, dated, trashy types. they do not look classy, elegant, or highly intelligent.
    3) why should girls engaging in a vigorous sport wear makeup and have their long hair out? do men do that when they play football, or do gymnastics? It's your view (that it's reasonable and normal for girls to feel they should be 'attractive' while engaging in sport) which is extreme. how can we hope to teach our daughters to ignore physical beauty in favour of health and intelligence, when there are antiquated ideas about artifice still floating around.
    4) if she got straight A's, why didn't she get an academic scholarship? I'm not disparaging your granddaughter, I'm disparaging the idea of universities allowing access to academia to unproven people.

That’s kind of sad because cheerleading has become gymnastics and if you noticed this competitions all over the country. And to do this they do have to wear tight outfits. Do you get a subset of the gymnasts? They were the same tight outfits. Do men wear make up? That’s their choice not to.I know many young men who would love to wear make up but can’t because they aren’t women and anything women do is taboo. By the way cheerleaders have their hair pulled back the same way actually to do.
My granddaughter is still a junior and will probably get an academic scholarship. She doesn’t want to play sports in college because it takes up too much time if she accepts an athletic scholarship but she would probably qualify. The older one is on varsity volleyball and is won fourth in the National competition in equestrian shows . The younger one plays basketball volleyball and lacrosse and is an amazing athlete, but feels the same way. You are assuming that getting an athletic scholarship means they are unproven people. They see the transcripts

Somebody is so ambiguous and tries to hide their Country of origin, it is quite dishonest.

If you're talking about me, you're mistaken. Plenty of people here know where I live.
