(I submitted the following message on the Contact the Prime Minister link under the category of....Justice)

    ..................

    Dear Mr. Prime Minister:

I made a suggestion to our local Conservative Party candidate Mr. Fred DeLorey that in my opinion could perhaps win you two to ten seats across Canada even though this is the last minute.

I suggested that he promise, if elected, to table a bill:
"Ban Intra-cardiac Potassium Chloride Injections on Singletons."

Central - Nova is such a strong Catholic riding that I believe that if Mr. Fred DeLorey were to do this there could well be an all time record turn out of voters on October 19.

Although I am a member of Canada's Liberal Party I am of course a Christian first and a Canadian first and that bill, if it was supported by pro-life M. P.'s in the other parties, could well save the lives of several dozen Canadians each year from now on.

    Thank you for considering this.

Prime Minister Harper, what you did at the G-8 back in 2011 was one of the wisest and most courageous acts that I have ever seen taken by any political leader over these past forty years that I have been watching world events.

Kind regards and a big thank you for serving us so well.

    Dennis Tate

I also dropped an e-mail to the local Conservative Party candidate:

    https://www.facebook.com/FredDeLoreyCPC?fref=ts
    Fred DeLorey

    Hi Fred:

I have to admit that I am kind of glad that I hadn't met you previous to casting my ballot on Sunday. Not having met you made it easier for me to vote for my own parties candidate.

Because of what P. M. Stephen Harper did back in 2011 at the G-8 though I do feel that I should set you up in a way that could......… get you a lot of votes...… and profoundly encourage your core base........ This was posted to a public group "4 My Canada."

    .............

Mr. Fred DeLorey........ my vote is already gone to your impressive opponent but I can think of one way in which you might be able to draw a great deal of attention to your campaign over the coming five days. If you were to promise that if you were elected that you would table a bill to "Ban Intra-cardicac Potassium Chloride Injections on Singletons" it is quite possible that Central - Nova might just experience a record high voter turn out.

Those words are not for an anti-abortion law but instead for an Anti - Feticide Bill that might just gain a great deal of support across party lines. In a case where a third trimester foetus is aborted, they actually could survive some types of abortion so they are executed by an injection of potassium chloride to the heart.

In this age of fertility clinics this bill would not pass unless the word "singletons" is in there so that this was not understood to stop a physician from reducing the number of foetuses in a womb down from perhaps 5-7 down to one baby.

Potassium Chloride injection can be EXTREMELY painful to the fetus.
Doctors sometimes use this on patients with certain types of atrial fibrillation (they have to be very careful because too high of a dose results in death). A nurse told me she has seen patients writhe in agony afterwards.

Blah .. blah .. blah .. a fetus cannot feel pain until at least 24 weeks and even then has no ability to know what pain is or feels like . .try doing some real research away from your Stormfront and pro-life sites.

Actually this blog gives evidence that pain can be felt by the foetus at 8 weeks.

Every piece of the pseudo-science in that blog has been shot full of holes, they even reference a thoroughly discredited video called The Silent Scream .. so so sad to see that piece of BS rearing it's lying head again.

I can tell by your answer here that you would not have an open mind to some fascinating research done with extremely sensitive polygraphs that indicates that even plants may have something like emotions!

I read the Readers Digest condensed book version of this back in the 1990's. I thought that it was fascinating and made me rethink my view of certain scriptures:

    Psalms 96:12

Actually....... it is possible to hold a view that is to some degree both pro-life as well as pro-choice.

Obviously we human beings have been given a great deal of freedom to make choices and to end our own lives is one of the freedoms that we do have.............. Depending on the circumstances though a choice of that nature can perhaps lead to our experiencing similar difficulties in a higher dimension of space - time?

    http://www.near-death.com/experiences/notable/george-ritchie.html#a05b

Others who also committed suicide had a quite positive near death experience so obviously our Creator takes the full set of circumstances into consideration. Deciding to have an abortion is much like suicide on a smaller scale. We have set up our economy in such a way that causes mothers to feel that they have little choice but to have an abortion or fall through the cracks in the social safety net?????

Personally, I feel that a major key to reducing the pressure on women to feel that they must have an abortion is to take a look at those times in which we had much better monetary policies in place.

This other thread goes into more detail on the factors that put pressure on our political leaders to make decisions that have serious long term consequences on our national debt:

    http://www.politicalforum.com/canad...e-elliott-trudeau-save-world-environment.html

Did P. M. Pierre Elliott Trudeau save the world environment?
This is actually a quite serious question.

    P. M. Trudeau made an error back in 1974, that may well come to be understood as one of the most important mistakes ever made by a political leader.

When P. M. Pierre Elliott Trudeau took Canada off the gold standard, (which incidentally had to be done for many valid reasons), a miscalculation was made that is the number one reason why our national debt has spiraled out of control.

Imagine the central nervous system as the US telegraph system. You cant send a message until the wires are strung and connected, So it is with nerves in the developing fetus. Until they grow and finally connect, around 24-26 weeks, then no impulses can be transmitted, let alone perceived by the unwired brain.

okay, just suppose hypothetically for a moment—and I am not saying this is the case—that the nerves have not all formed connections yet. Under normal conditions the fetus might not be able to feel, but Potassium Chloride is completely different. It spreads throughout the entire bloodstream, acting upon nerves wherever they are. Even if we assume the connections were not all there, the fetus would still be in a tremendous amount of pain.

That being said, we already know that the fetus is innervated. From the point of as early as 6 weeks it is capable of wiggling around those little arms and legs. How could this movement be happening if the nerves were not connected yet?

Dr. Paul Ranalli's research was refuted by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists - "connections ... to the cortex are not intact before 24 weeks of gestation and, as most neuroscientists believe that the cortex is necessary for pain perception it can be concluded that the fetus cannot experience pain in any sense prior to this gestation. there is increasing evidence that the fetus never experiences a state of true wakefulness in utero and is kept, by the presence of its chemical environment, in a continuous sleep-like unconsciousness or sedation. This state can suppress higher cortical activation in the presence of intrusive external stimuli. " - https://www.rcog.org.uk/en/guideline...-for-practice/

    Behavioral:

"""" By 8 weeks after fertilization, the unborn child reacts to touch. By 20 weeks post-fertilization, the unborn child reacts to stimuli that would be recognized as painful if applied to an adult human—for example, by recoiling. Surgeons entering the womb to perform corrective procedures on unborn children have seen those babies flinch, jerk and recoil from sharp objects and incisions. In addition, ultrasound technology shows that unborn babies at 20 weeks and earlier react physically to outside stimuli such as sound, light and touch.
    http://www.doctorsonfetalpain.com/fe""

Refuted - In fetal development, most major organs exist in rudimentary form by about 8 to 9 weeks. It takes several months for these organs to grow in size, complexity, and organization to the point they can function. For example, the myelin sheath—the insulating cover on nerve pathways that is required for efficient conduction of pain signals—does not begin forming around nervous system cells (neurons) in the spinal cord until about 24 weeks, and not till after birth in most of the cerebral cortex.[6],[7],[8] Although sporadic brain waves can be detected by about 21 weeks gestation, genuine continuous brain waves do not begin until about 28 weeks,[9] indicating that the nerve circuits needed to carry pain impulses to the brain are not connected till then. - http://www.prochoiceactionnetwork-ca...tal-pain.shtml

Pain perception requires conscious recognition or awareness of a noxious stimulus. Neither withdrawal reflexes nor hormonal stress responses to invasive procedures prove the existence of fetal pain, because they can be elicited by nonpainful stimuli and occur without conscious cortical processing. Fetal awareness of noxious stimuli requires functional thalamocortical connections. Thalamocortical fibers begin appearing between 23 to 30 weeks’ gestational age, while electroencephalography suggests the capacity for functional pain perception in preterm neonates probably does not exist before 29 or 30 weeks. - http://jama.jamanetwork.com/article....ticleid=201429

I personally think that this is a brilliant reply and I can use this!

May I quote you even into Facebook?

If so would you prefer that I quote you as A. H. or your full name as Anders Hoveland?

May I quote you to Canadian and even American politicians?

Fox...… this is an exceptionally good response to this topic....... I am impressed but......… physicians, when paid a sufficiently high sum of money to argue a case from a particular basis, will present a powerful case even when they are thoroughly incorrect.

Fox..... has any physician ever recommend MSM to you personally or to anybody that you know of?

Several books were written by research physicians on what MSM can do but amazingly few doctors will recommend this low cost natural source of pain relief to their patients when they have something available that they can earn commissions on!

    http://www.msm-info.com/#Cell Membrane

    Cell Membrane Permeability

Lawyers get a rad rap............. powerful evidence exists that within the community of physicians there are a percentage of members who will lie and lie and lie and avoid the truth, especially when they were chosen to play out a role that happens to give them extremely large salaries.

My wife and I both watched:

    http://www3.burzynskimovie.com/synopsis/#.Viy0IrXNhy1

......… and we were shocked that even one physician would so abandon the obvious principles of the Hippocratic Oath..... but this film gives powerful evidence that several extremely well paid USA physicians collaborated to make it difficult for the only effective treatment to certain types of cancer from being used to help cancer patients.

This is logical........... but why do plants seem to have a reaction when a researcher will simply put a Bic lighter next to the leaf...… and visualize flicking it?

Plants obviously do not have the connections for what we would term a "brain" but........ the people at Findhorn near the Arctic Circle in Scotland were using unusual methods that worked........ they produced eighty pound broccoli and cabbage.

At least one near death experiencer was shown that within two centuries we would use methods to produce large plants that is ridiculed at this time by a significant percentage of scientists. To the credit of the scientific community........... some highly qualified researchers invested a lot of time and effort at Findhorn to see what was being done differently.

OK, if everyone is lying except the people you agree with then the short, simple, logical answer is for everyone to mind their own business and let women retain the right to their own body and make their own decisions about their medical procedures just LIKE YOU ( and other people) DO.

And I can tell by your response that you will believe anything that is placed in front of you, the authors of that book, journalist Peter Tompkins and gardener Christopher O. Bird, have no qualifications in the subject matter and instead relied on the so called research done by Cleve Backster who claims to have a D. Sc. in Complementary Medicine from Medicina Alternativa, he has parlayed his doctorate into a position at the California Institute for Human Science Graduate School and Research Center, an unaccredited institution founded by Dr. Hiroshi Motoyama for the study of "the human being as tridimensional."

Backster's claims were refuted by Horowitz, Lewis, and Gasteiger (1975) and Kmetz (1977). Kmetz summarized the case against Backster in an article for the Skeptical Inquirer in 1978. Backster had not used proper controls in doing his study. When controls were used, no detection of plant reaction to thoughts or threats could be found. These researchers found that the cause of the polygraph contours could have been due to a number of factors, including static electricity, movement in the room, changes in humidity, etc.

I would suggest you also read Horowitz, Lewis, and Gasteiger (1975) - http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17781887 - http://www.madsci.org/posts/archives/2004-12/1102887839.Bt.r.html - and Kmetz (1977) for some REAL research.

Seventy percent of Canadians believe that the unborn should have some sort of legal protection during the third trimester of pregnancy.

At this time....... Canada and North Korea have the same level of protection for the unborn...… zero.

The situation is a lot better in the USA.

All of us have the freedom of thought and choice to be at least somewhat moved by the probable implications of video footage such as this:

    http://www.patheos.com/blogs/bristo...rn-baby-clapping-in-the-womb-as-parents-sing/

Watch a 14-Week-Old Unborn Baby Clapping in the Womb as Parents Sing

    ...............…

Frankly........ it is common knowledge that the unborn are affected by music and singing. The most radical feminists on earth who decide to get pregnant........ will likely sing and play special songs to her unborn foetus.

you are contradicting yourself, if the nerves have not formed connections yet . .which by the way is not hypothetical but a proven scientific reality, then no matter how much Potassium Chloride is used the fetus will feel no pain what so ever, you simply do not understand what pain is and as such must place your ignorance as fact.

I would try to educate you but we all know that would be a pointless exercise.

Reactive movement is not and never has been an indication of conscious action.

Pain consists of two elements, the physical and the psychological, a fetus prior to approx 24 weeks has neither in place to experience pain.

And the woman can shop around until she finds someone willing to do it. The abortion clinic operators who do late-term abortions usually have a hefty surcharge to help assuage their guilty consciences. And no doubt it costs more to retain the staff when they have to routinely deal with shoving aborted baby body parts down the garbage disposal. Abortion clinic employees have a high turnover rate.

You are right, unless there is an absolute emergency most abortion providers will not do late-term abortions (gee, I wonder why that is?), but there are still a fair number of doctors out there who don't have any ethical qualms, and the women trying to get elective late-term abortions seek these disreputable doctors out.
