I was assigned to an Embassy in Latin America for 3 years and yes, in general our marines were armed with weapons without ammo...The issue is not the existence of such policies here and there around the world but about the wisdom of such a policy in a cesspool like the Middle East full of folk who want to kill us.

Your first link is from 2½ years ago! As for the others you must have some kind of American superiority complex to believe that US Muslim leaders represent the majority of Muslims!

In any case if you had read my post properly then you would have noticed that I specified the vandalising of the flag flying at halfmast and not acts of terrorism. That was an appropriate comparison dealing as it does with symbols and people's feelings.

The tormented people I referred to are those that feel driven to show the world their collective anger out on the streets not those who quietly ignore perceived insults. The point is that these people in Cairo, who are now being encouraged onto the streets by their president, do not give others the respect they demand of themselves and they are totally blind to the irony of it.

Is there any reason to feel happy

 

The barbarians who are creeps from another planet (the terrorists and would be terrorists in Libya, Egypt and other places in the middle east have simply shown what they really are....the worst kind of pieces of garbage imaginable.
