I think you will find that this is the beginning of the end for the NP. The fact that they have so publicly backed Joyce against the PM speaks volumes of the discontent between the two parties.

The NP seem to me to be a party of fools, and their decision to back Joyce as highlighted that fact. They have in effect started a self inflicted death roll. The Libs will not forget this and as sure as sh!t they will not forgive.

An irrelevant party run by outdated and politically inept old men.

Barnaby is a goner. As more questions arise about conflicts of interests he will have more pressure to step down

Starting a war inside the Coalition to protect Barnaby's job is the very definition of stupidity. If that is the route the Nats take and that is what the Libs are prepared to wear then they deserve whatever is coming their way.

Senate Estimates start up shortly, and Barnaby's finances are going to be forensically dissected. If they are dumb enough to still have him as leader when that starts then this government is effectively at an end. Their legislative agenda, thin as it is, will dissolve into thin air while everyone focuses on their monstrous stupidity & hypocrisy.

Personally I think this whole mess has killed off any real hope of a revival. Absent Shorten doing something monumentally stupid....repeatedly....I'm not seeing where salvation comes from. Maybe a few more Newspolls will pile up & Malcolm will get knifed, but even that is a massive risk.

The only mistake Shorten and Labor can make is passing comment on the subject, considering the pasts of some of their senior ministers.

One can only think that Turnbull does not have the numbers within his own party to send Joyce and The Nats a massive rebuke

Yes, I notice Abbott is once again trying to gain some purchase against Turnbull by siding with Joyce. This is attempt number 3 or 4 since the SSM vote went against him and no joy so far. No doubt he will keep trying until they lose the election and the party decides it doesn't want Abbott as a leader again. Maybe then he will quietly go away.

Abbott is gone next election. His electorate was one of the highest yes votes during the SSM vote. His popularity has diminished significantly. There will be a very strong independent running against him. He is a cooked chook IMO.

As his legacy to his beloved Liberal party, he intends to destroy it in a vengeful payback for their treachery.

He eats onions with the skin on, need I say more.

I don’t know! The farmers and country voters want a national party. Who will they vote for that has their interests at heart? Maybe independents but that just doesn’t have the same strength.

Anyway, further reports are suggesting they are canvassing leadership options. I think the party were hoping it would die down quickly, which is far from the case.

The Libs and Nats need each other and even without a formal alliance will always support each other unless the libs can hold their own!

A beautiful young woman and a suffering horny old man. That's all I can see on this photo. Hey, wait a minute, isn't that Barnaby Joyce?
Reminds me of a rap song/album from the band Body Count (Ice T), appeared in 1992, of which at least one song was banned in my country.
No, there is nothing dark/sinister on Barnaby's mind, just the obvious....

Yep it looks like she certainly hooked him here....line and sinkers!

Sounds like he’ll probably be sticking around despite some grumblings!

Let's see what happens ... Monday I think, in my opinion there has been a lot of Nationals just waiting to see what the situation was like when the smoke settled. First country people don't like to just rush in, they don't like to rush anywhere, especially in bank queues. I think the teller at my bank knows every person in town and all the gossip. They also don't like fuss, all this stuff is fuss, when they (Barnaby and Turnbullshit) settle the party will quietly go about replacing him. This won't be nearly as big an issue in the big picture, not like other takeovers, this is not about politics.

I love how appropriate that saying of Woodrow Wilson "If you lose your wealth, you have lost nothing, If you lose your health, you have lost something, But if you lose your character, you have lost everything.". I believe some say Billy Graham said it, I'm not sure. .. Further research and I have found it's an old English proverb.

Derryn Hinch says he'll be gone by March first. (I accidentally heard him on the wireless.)

You reckon she set out to bag a seriously unattractive 50 year old borderline alcoholic with a wife & 4 kids? My bet is that only one person in that photo needed their ego stroked & it wasn't her. I hope that Barnaby's wife takes him to the cleaners & young Vikki gets the rest when she leaves.

No I reckon she set out to bag herself a Deputy Prime Minister, but at this stage (when the photo was taken) they were already sleeping together, no doubt in my mind. Barnaby is thinking about what they did last night and she knows 100% what's on his mind... twirling her hair... one leg over the other.. skirt riding high. Women are not nearly as oblivious to the messages they send out as some would believe.

As far as inappropriately dressed.... yes completely inappropriate for work not to mention for when she has to accompany the Deputy Prime Minister of Australia to events.

Here's a dress far more suitable and far nicer in my opinion,

ps. in no way does this excuse Barnaby from any of this, it takes two to tango

I love how you tacked on that last line to pretend that you aren't slvt shaming the woman involved in this. Classy.

I love how you turn this into woman shaming by simply acknowledging the truth. The question is did she dress like this because they were in the middle of a relationship, or did she do this right from the start... and if she did set out to catch him...he's the married with 4 children Deputy Prime Minister of Australia.. chasing after an employee with a short skirt

Look at the other women in the crowd... how are they dressed?

One photograph and you've composed an entire thesis on a complete stranger whose existence you were unaware of until a few weeks ago. And magically all the 'evidence' points to her being a home wrecking slvt. No hint of pre-judgement there. Nope, none at all.

This certainly is the forum for you. Fitting right in.

    I'm telling you what I see...here's what I see;

1 Deputy Prime Minister leering at his Mistress (we know 100% he's ****ing her because she is pregnant) Okay, he's leering, they're sleeping together fact. No one needs to make up an entire thesis to determine this.

She's wearing a very short mini skirt and top with her bra sticking out... this is not really something you should wear to work and especially not if you're working and attending functions with the..... Deputy Prime Minister of Australia.

About the home wrecking slut... this is your words... I'm not nearly as judgemental about women flirting and having affairs... it happens every day in society. Still doesn't change the fact that she is wearing inappropriate clothes and fully aware of him leering at her. Also does not mean I am placing the responsibility all on her... this is your interpretation.
