WASHINGTON (AP) — Attorney General William Barr has authorized federal prosecutors across the U.S. to pursue “substantial allegations” of voting irregularities, if they exist, before the 2020 presidential election is certified, despite little evidence of fraud.

Barr does not identify any specific instances of purported fraud in the memo.

“While it is imperative that credible allegations be addressed in a timely and effective manner, it is equally imperative that Department personnel exercise appropriate caution and maintain the Department’s absolute commitment to fairness, neutrality and non-partisanship,” Barr wrote.

States have until Dec. 8 to resolve election disputes, including recounts and court contests over the results. Members of the Electoral College meet Dec. 14 to finalize the outcome.

Is it ethical to assume the election is without fraud when battle ground states have only 10-30,000 vote difference and they all just 'coincidentally' stopped the count late night?

    OP Supplement:

If there’s fraud in the 2020 election, then we must find it: Devine

There’s more evidence of voter fraud in the 2020 election than there ever was of Russia collusion, so America is owed a legal examination of the election irregularities alleged by the Trump campaign.

Basically, the election is down to roughly 120,000 votes of almost 150 million votes cast.

    That’s 0.08 percent, a tiny margin by anyone’s reckoning.

Five swing states are within 1 percent, all with Joe Biden in the lead.

In Georgia, he was ahead by just 10,352 votes.

In Arizona, he was ahead by 19,438 votes.

In Wisconsin, he was ahead by 20,540.

In Pennsylvania, he was ahead by 43,251.

In Nevada, he was ahead by 31,464.

It is not outlandish or unprecedented to accept the possibility that at least some of those margins may be erroneous, whether through human error or, indeed, fraud.

Electoral fraud is not unknown in America. Probably the most famous example was in 1960, when Chicago Mayor Richard Daley allegedly rigged the ballot for John F. Kennedy, dead people were found to have “voted” and 677 election officials were indicted.

Due to the pandemic, around 40 percent of votes in Tuesday’s election were cast by mail, double the percentage in 2016.

Even the New York Times once reported the truth that mail-in voting is the most vulnerable to fraud.

This is why most developed countries ban the practice.

Does anyone care if the gubmint LIES to us and stacks the election?

Is this the best the 'atheist' secular government has to offer?

Those margins are seriously thin and as I said last post in all the swing states, l just another in a long line of murcan coincidences right?

You have things backwards. The vote isn't close because they're defined as swing states. They're defined as swing states because the vote is close.

You're giving us a tautology, "The vote is close in states where the vote is close", and then declaring it's suspicious.

swing state means they swing to either side of the isle, not winning/losing by a .001% margin, and certainly not 5 states.

there are very few states that even came close they were either decidedly for trump or decidedly for biden.

The swing states were decidedly trump, UNTIL they stopped counting now they eek in a hair thin win.

Thats obviously because all the mail in ballots were for biden of course.

trump spent the last few months telling his supporters not to vote by mail and you are surprised that most of the mail in votes (that were counted last) were for Biden?

And swing states margins are typically very thin, plus they are still being counted.

There were six states in 2016 decided with less than 2% margin, 0.09% was the deciding vote in the whole election.

No need for 'me' to read, I remember the diebold debacle they covered up, or shall I point out the fact that the machines took only 10seconds to hack and change the vote all hush hush as far as msm goes, the fact that one machine had -9000 as in ('minus' 9000) votes, clearly from people with negative attitudes, since elections in the divine US cant be rigged.

Is that a general principle or a new one?
