OK, some of you know Gettysburg was a site of one of the famous northern aggression war of 1861. But do you truly understand what was happening? This piece by a teacher at the war college explains a lot that you might like to learn. Discuss, of course, it as you please. You will learn the ideas of Robert E. Lee and why he was at Gettysburg. And follow what was happening. And the why you may ask is explained.

Lee was out to destroy the will of the North. He could not match their resources so he wanted to damage them so much, he destroyed their will.

Another view that agrees Stewart was a problem, but so was Longstreet.
