We take away "freedom" from people with illness, disease, and who cut themselves, why are gays different? no reason.

You're grasping at straws, just like every other anti-gay person does. For crying out loud just stick to your guns. You don't like gay people, and you don't want them to marry because they disgust you. Your prejudice against them; you judge them as lesser people who are not worthy of the term marriage. I have no philosophical issue with polyamory being legal. That said, it's nowhere near as simple as simply allowing same sex couples the same rights opposite sex couples have had for decades. You'd have to rewrite the entire IRS code from scratch. You'd have to deal with things like power of attorney, medical decision making, inheritance, divorce and child custody, and probably a dozen other things. I'm not saying all of the above is impossible, only that it's a much different thing than simply opening the door to same sex couples.

 

Boy, you are jumping alllll over the place with this one. Is your objection about the word of God, the lead-in to polygamy, or is it anal sex you object to? Please pick one because youre confusing me in your gleeful objections.

Of course, peds (this abbrv will soon be offensive) were with Homosexuals in the first place, the reason why homosexuals got ahead is that back years ago they decided to separate from them in advocating and marches etc. So they could say "at least we are not that" because child relation ships were increasingly becoming bitter. For the last couple years they have been starting to remove the wall they artificially put up.

How was it misinterpreted? You had 30 plus states that recognized gay marriage and 13 states that not only did not recognize gay marriage, but did not even recognize that gay marriage was allowed in other states. so you had two different standards on whether or not gay marriage was allowed or not allowed. The ruling was made based on the Constitutional guildelines, not religous dogma.

The Mormons like Mitt Romney are predominantly Republican and they are the only group with a history of this which has ended, this guy lost his license to practice medicine recently because of statements like this.

All those states are run by different groups of humans. Each with their own opinions and ability to interperet or misinterperet something. If all those states were run by the same persons, then heck yeah that would be pretty hard to explain.


And of course your 30 vs 13 is dependent on the timeframe you decided to choose to start your statement from. I could start my debate clock at the time only a couple allowed it...so thats not really a solid basis for much.

 

I don't give a crap what religion you are. What I do care about is using underhanded tactics to cover up your true reasons for being anti-SSM. Just be honest; that's all I ask. If you're prejudice, just admit to it. Don't hide behind sexual disease arguments that apply to heterosexuals in addition to homosexuals, and that don't apply to lesbians at all.

 

And you wrongfully assume every gay person out there has anal sex. But hey, don't let facts get in the way of your anti-gay rant.
