Trump's political instincts(which I once praised as smart in 2016) have been nowhere near as sharp as they were four years ago. While attacking your political opponent is one thing, you have to parlay it into what you've actually done.(And though the beltway doesn't praise him for the things he's done, average Americans have received benefits.) One of the major things he's done, which got Mattis's panties in a bunch leading to his resignation is the successful settlement of the Syrian quagmire and the absolutely unnecessary, unproductive US involvement in that region. If anyone remembers, no one wanted in on the quagmire back in 2012 during the Arab Spring and nothing has changed in the eight years since. It was as Obama called it: The worst foreign policy call of his presidency. Why do I bring this up? Well in Rand Paul's YouTube ad, he points out that he doesn't agree with Trump on everything(mostly spending, etc and stuff like that) but he does agree with the results of giving the military industrial complex the biggest middle finger it's had in years. And Joe Biden/Kamala Harris are pushovers who will absolutely seek to give the complex back everything and more of what it had. It's certainly something to consider and it's something I wish Trump spent more time stomping on(and in general) throughout this election process.
Butttttttt Dirty Donald is constantly bragging about he has increased the military budget and rebuilt the military??????
