I've presented three. You have presented no viable refutation. Claiming we haven't read the Bible or are taking scriptures out of context isn't a refutation.

Then put up your very best contradiction. Give it your best shot. If you have done it before, then it should be a simple cut and paste, and you are good at simple cut & paste. Put up or shut up.

I'll give you the same response I just gave to another like you who is confounded by being so easily refuted in the past.

Put up your best argument, the one you think is most likely to make a Christian change his mind about the Bible. Give it your best shot. Put up or shut up.

Your argument seems to continue to be "I won't listen to facts so shut up". Very open minded (not) of you who claim to be so accepting. Another lie, just like your bible is full of.

Go read my posts in response to the posts presenting a contradiction. I address every one.

I just offered to address your best Bible criticism. You had a chance to present your best Biblical contradiction, yet you refuse.

When it comes to "put up or shut up", you choose to shut up.

This buybull of your is so full of contradictions it is hard to pick one.

Just for fun though, defend the fact that it is claimed as divinely written yet is admittedly fallible humans who wrote and made up the entire thing.

Defend that to start and then we can address the other lies contained in it.

Wow, you really don't read the posts. I already posted the following:

Why? Because there is no way to prove or disprove the claim that the Bible is divinely written. That issue is external to the text of the Bible, and is irrelevant to so-called contradictions within the text. You either believe it is divine, or you don't. Its that simple.

You have claimed the Bible is full of contradictions. I've told you to put forward your best case contradiction. Its an objective issue of textual criticism. It should be easy for you to make your case. Put up or shut up.

You really enjoy trying to intimidate other with your assertions of being so noble and demands that they prove you otherwise. A typical bully who will not acknowledge any point other than his own highly warped one. Anything that is a contradiction those like you try to say is a metaphor or allegorical tale, not the truth but accept it anyway.

pu ae as dishonest as your buybull and continue to spread its manure.

Ch. 6 saying 2 pairs of every kind of bird, then ch7 saying 7 pairs of every kind of bird is a clear contradiction. It clearly proves the Bible is not of a higher intelligent being.

Is it not reasonable to expect that a book claimed as "the word of god" should not have this and many other contradictions and absurd unverifiable claims, rest the eternal fate of billions of humans. Simple rational thought leads to the Bible being nothing but manmade folklore with no real god.

People do put up .. and all you do is name call and whine in response. Quit transferring your issues onto others.

One of the best contradictions is the God of the Israelite's (YHWH) and the God of Jesus.

The God of YHWH is a genocidal God with the most petty and nasty of human characteristics. This God makes a law stating that children should not be punished for the sins of their parents (Good Law ! .. kudo's). God then turns around and tells the Israelite's to kill, children and babies because of the sins of their parents. This God also states that if there are a few people in a town worshiping other Gods the whole town is to be slaughtered - which of course includes children and babies ..again being killed for the sins of their parents. This God says to kill adulterers and homosexuals.

This flip flopping, contradictory genocidal God with the most petty of human characteristics (I am a Jealous God) is a walking contradiction in comparison to the God of Jesus.

The God of Jesus says: Turn the other Cheek, Love neighbor as thyself, Ye who is without sin cast the first stone (don't stone the adulterer), Judge not lest you be judged. ... all restatements of the Golden Rule (Do unto others as you whould have done to you/ Treat others as you would be treated).

OK, so you choose "shut up" instead of "put up".

And how can anybody bully someone else in this forum? What a cop out.

Genesis 6:19 says Noah is to bring 2 of every kind of living creature.
Genesis 7:2 says Noah is to take 7 pairs of every kind of clean animal.

"Clean animals" are to be used for sacrifice, they are a subset of "all animals". If you only have 2 of an animal, and sacrifice one of the animals, then you just eliminated that species, so Noah obviously had to bring more than 2 of the clean animals.

Genesis 6 and 7 is not a contradiction, you just have to read more than the 2 sentences and know a tiny bit about the religious practices of the time. 2 minutes on google would have given you the explanation.

You cry "put up or shut up" and then ask for a contradiction. Then when I give you one you run and hide in the bushes.

    Cat got your tongue ?

I don't accept your assertion on the animals, but I'm talking about the birds. There is no distinction between clean and unclean with the birds, yet there is clearly two different numbers for them.

For those who are axiomatically compelled to do so, any and all contradictions can be neatly rationalized away, especially given an internet full of fellow rationalizers.

No, that is what you want to believe, another lie like those in your bible.

    Time for you to present
Unfortunately, it is typical of the poster you are quoting.

I know ... this one does this to many others. As soon information which contradicts personal dogma can not be refuted the response is to try and demonize the messenger rather than address the message.

So, you don't accept any argument that refutes your misperception. Very convenient.

"animals" includes birds. Genesis 7 addresses clean animals which includes the "clean" birds.

After the flood, Noah sacrificed animals - Genesis 8:20
"Then Noah built an altar to the Lord and, taking some of all the clean animals and clean birds, he sacrificed burnt offerings on it."

First, some of us have real lives and don't live on this forum. You should learn 2 good traits - having an open mind, and patience.

Second, its not easy reconciling the violence in the Old Testament and Jesus teachings. On the surface there is a problem, but remember that Jesus did not repudiate the Old Testament, he quoted from it many times and used the Old Testament as justification and the foundation for His teaching.

Its an issue over which people with open minds struggle, and therefore there is no short answer that will satisfy you. Unfortunately for this discussion, it takes time and study to work through the problem. If you want a bumper sticker answer that satisfies a skeptic, you won't find it.

If you want a real, objective discussion which concludes there is a contradiction between the Old and New, then go here
    http://enemylove.com/part-2-warrior-god-or-prince-of-peace/

If you want to read another argument which concludes that there is no contradiction then read this
    http://www.patheos.com/blogs/christ...e-old-testament-contradict-the-new-testament/

And this is a good statement of the problem and presents a solution

Wow, you take delusional apologetics's to a whole new level.

Btw, where was the need for burnt offerings?

First off is that the pathos article does not address the specific subject matter under discussion.

The other 2 articles are better as they actually admit - (something you have yet to do) that there is a contradiction between the God of Jesus and the God of Israel.

In the first article, after describing the stark difference concludes.
This article says exactly what I have been telling you. The other article also concludes that there is a contradiction but, neither of these articles resolve this dilemma.

None addresses the fact that the God of the Israelite's contradicts himself but, hey ...one out of 2 is not bad.

Not sure why you go on about a "simple answer". I never asked for one. We were not even discussing what the resolution to this contradiction was as you had yet to even admit the contradiction.

Now that (by your own links which conclude there is a contradiction) this contradiction has been proven, hopefully you will stop trying to shoot the messenger and we can talk about resolution of this dilemma.

    Lets list the main possibilities:

    1) The God of Jesus is not YHWH.
    2) God turned over a new leaf ... changed his tune.

Remember, when Yeshua returns he will torture everyone, pollute the Earth, and them kill all life and destroy the planet. He's not a good guy.

LOL .. sure thing ... according to Revelations which was referred to as "Spurious" by some of the early Church Fathers and is a work akin to Nostradamus prophecies.
