No, we're good at shooting because we've shot thousands of rounds in practice.

Hmmm, I was a sharpshooter yet never fired thousands of rounds to be one.

Sharpshooter, as in "sharpshooter badge earned in the military"?

You are the ones chanting America First - yet you advocate skipping over US made ammo to buy Russian crap. The whole MAGA
    crap is a smoke screen.

I (personally) am not chanting a damn thing. Nor am I buying any ammo, from anywhere. Got any other broadbrush strikes to swing at?

However, YOU are the one who thinks you latched onto something here.

So, are YOU suggesting we should stick with American made or just think you have a 'gotchya' moment to try capitalizing on here?

No is advocating this. If I want to shoot this weekend, and there is no US made ammo, I will purchase what is available.

I think supporting Russian companies at the same time that Russia is trying to undermine the US is the hight of hypocrisy for the
    MAGA, America First, crowd.

So it's inconvenient for you to wait so that you can support American companies first. Got it. America First as long as
it doesn't interfere with your plans for the weekend.

By wait, do you means months, because that's what we're seeing. You see to fail to understand that as soon as American companies put ammo on the retail shelves it's gone. No American ammo company is going out of business because gun owners are also buying Russian ammo.

Why isn't there a ban on all imports from Russia, then? If supporting Russia is the problem, why does Biden allow all other imports to continue? You're trying, poorly, to make this a Republican thing. Apparently it's a Democrat thing, along with some virtue signaling.

I have said this many time, if you support MAGA you support inflationary policies. For the most part the reason goods are imported are because it is cheaper. If you want US made products you better like higher prices or at least accept them in the name of MAGA.

It's a personal thing. Either you believe in MAGA and America First, and you would wait to buy American ammo, or you
don't want to be inconvenienced and will buy ammo from a country actively trying to undermine your country. Ain't rocket
    science.

Seriously, you've created a false dichotomy. You've created a scenario that ignores the real world and global economics for some minuscule political point that no one but you cares about.

Trump is gone and isn't coming back. Live in the moment.

This ban's impact On the Russian economy is miniscule at best. This is simply an attempt back door gun control.

Good news is the Form 6 imports from Russia won't dry up for another year.

Yes- they are quality AK's. Much better than the current American made ones.

Trump supporters? No idea. I'm not one.

I was several times all-American, and won major titles in Olympic Skeet, American Skeet, Olympic trap and pistol shooting. I shot a lot. How many tennis balls do you think Pete Sampras hit? I knew Mikael Appelgren. He was a several times world champion in Table Tennis. He noted he practiced a shopping cart full of balls worth of SERVES every day when he was a professional player. Why would you believe shooters in that sort of league would not shoot thousands of rounds?

many years ago S&W pro shooter Tommy Campbell won the European IPSC championship using the soon to be marketed smith and wesson 645. He was the last guy to win a major without a compensated gun. He was asked how many rounds he practiced getting ready for that specific shoot. 70,000 he said. 70,000 rounds he was asked. NO HE SAID-seventy thousand dollars of factory ammo (Smith and Wesson was tasing the durability of his two pistols as well has sponsoring him as a professional). back then factory ammo probably cost SW about 4 dollars for fifty rounds. Do the math to figure out how many rounds in a year he practiced.

Russian ammo-like the stuff for AKs and 9mms tend to be cheap and reliable

Dude. You didn’t care that US mask manufacturers are going out of business because the Biden administration won’t follow science and recommend good quality masks to Americans. Funny stuff.

Almost every country in the world is trying to undermine the USA. And the next Republican president with the stroke of his pen can simply undo it.

Cause Republicans like supporting Russians more than Americans - we get it. They should just change their name to "Putinists".
