The difference is that I say the lack of total absolute is to the benefit of we the people and the states and a limit on the federal government. Biden sees the constitution as not absolute in a way to take rights and power from the people and let the federal government decide. While we agree about not absolute, we are 180 degree polar and irreconcilable opposites as to why and to what effect

The Supreme Court overturning of Roe vs Wade does not ban abortion. It returns that issue to the states and the people to decide. No grounds for a revolution.

Ah yes, we should have fully automatic (why not) AR’s with a 100 armor piercing round capacity easily purchased at every gun store by 18 years olds because *checks notes* bears…

That does not negate the probability of a revolution if they target guns in this manner.

Another who doesn’t know what they’re talking about. Show me an AR-15 that is fully automatic.

In fact… point to one mass shooting that the shooter used a full auto.

and go ahead and show me a link to a full auto rifle for sale that is so easily obtained.

    moronic!!!!!!!!!

There are already limits on types of weapons that can be purchased including all automatic weapons.

Are you an advocate for removing all age limits and reintroducing fully automatic weapons along with having zero background checks?

You just claimed an 18 year old can easily obtain a fully automatic AR so show me! Or are you going to keep on peddling BS

Says the person that believes such weapons should be easily accessed because of bears.

    Ironic.

Did you notice the words (why not) after the words fully automatically. Do I need to explain what those two words mean together?

And yes I think they should be able to buy one. It’s their constitutional right. Why did they add shall mot be infringed? Just as a joke? I would argue a full auto is less deadly than a semi auto because they take longer to load and are harder to aim. That ban was unconstitutional in my opinion.

Oh it’s not just because of bears. Even if they wanted it for target practice I would be okay with it. But to claim an AR has no place in the shooting world is completely moronic. They are practical for many uses.

This is just more evidence that they want to ban everything.

I know people who are lawful owners of full autos and I personally would never want one. That said I see no reason against their ownership other than the fact they are expensive to shoot and hard to aim. They walk to much to be effective at anything other than scaring someone

There are zero limitations on the constitution? Impressive.

So you can yell fire in a move theater without consequence? Can you easily purchase an RPG?

Why do you think you're making a point here? Nobody thinks the Constitution is absolute ever.

Biden trying to restrict rights as though he is some sort of king is not the same thing as saying you can't slander people.
And we are allowed to criticize him call for his impeachment and removal based on his opinions.

So please explain to me why a ban on fully auto weapons has been repeatedly supported by the courts, but a ban on semi-auto would
be "Unconstitutional"? Seems that "reasonable" bans in regards to the 2nd do exist - just a matter of where we want to draw the line.

I am trying to make a point but I have to use baby steps as to make it not too complex.

Are background checks a limitation on the second amendment?

    That isn't what you said.

Yes, you can yell fire in a crowded theater, if there's a fire.

He said he cannot restrict them unilaterally. What are you talking about?

As to people not thinking the constitution is absolute, there are people here in this very thread arguing that it is absolute.

Dang right. There are also people in this very debate that have no idea what shall not be infringed means. If you want to change the constitution you are to do it by amending it, not making laws against it.
