    ...A national shortage of baby formula brought on by pandemic-related supply-chain issues has forced US retailers such as Walgreens to ration the all-important product.

    The company – the second-largest pharmacy store chain in the United States behind CVS – said Friday that amid the supply-chain crunch, it is limiting customers to three infant and toddler formula product purchases at a time, at its 9,021 US locations.

    This is what build back better actually means.

    Inflation and supply issues will only get worse which means this will get worse.

    So beyond masks, beyond virtual learning, we have yet another factor that will retard normal development for children.

    Biden did that!

    ETA the American academy of pediatrics does not recommend non formula for children.

    This may also mean mother's choose to breast feed for longer periods of time.

    They include manufacturers having more difficulty procuring key ingredients, packaging hangups and labor shortages, with those factors combining to affect production and distribution.
    In addition, a major baby formula recallin January exacerbated shortages.

    which of these is govts responsibility?

    Presidents have to shoulder the responsibility of what happens while they were in office. Biden has food shortages - Trump had the worst GDP
    of any President and allowed a biologic attack by the Chinese. The buck stops with the President. Is what it is.

    These shortages are all over the world. As much as I think Brandon is an A-grade idiot, it's not his doing. Or it's only very tangentially his doing.

    But as you said, state and local. How many of those shut down were baby food companies? Since all essential jobs and industries were spared from said shut downs.

    Do you agree this is all Bidens fault? Even before he was president.
    That is the claim of this ridiculous story from gatewaypudndit. AT least the headline. The story bears no resemblence to the title.

    Blame the Chinese - they have been “raiding” our supplies for years! Chinese people here in Australia make a good living off of selling Aussie made baby food to wealthy Chinese. See we have some of the strictest manufacturing codes on the planet sooooo…….

    looks like was a local issue, probably due to the Trump supporting Truck drivers protest, it's already over, even Amazon and Walmart are fully stocked
