This is pretty much the phasing out of all Russki Migs,Suck-hois, etc, air craft by the UAF,...and the complete changeover to Western jets and aviation. Just like tanks,APCs,and other military structures in preparation for NATO membership.

    Other news......

-Zelensky in Japan for G7.....orcs will be livid.

-At the same time of G7....China hosts the "Stans" .....and mentions it will assist in developing all their infrastructure in coming years. I suspect a bad hair day and that sinking feeling at Olgino.

-Kinzhal engineers ripped a new a$$hole for epic fail of Mafiosi "super weapon"?

-Moldova leaving CIS and reducing imports of Mafiosi energy altogether......

-Storm Shadow or Hrim-2 cruiser hits an Orc base in occupied Mariupol......estimates are 250-400 dead occupantsy.

    More to follow.

It continues. The Russians introduce hypersonic missiles. The US moves toward the introduction of F-16's, planes to be supplied by a NATO country. The battle lines remain essentially in the same place.

And so it goes . . . [A tip o' the Torus hat to the late Mr. Kurt Vonnegut.]

Kinda useless "hypersonics".....considering it's designers have been charged with "treason"?

    AKA....."wonder weapons" failure.

Russia warns West of ‘enormous risks’ if Ukraine is supplied with F-16 jets

Russia’s deputy foreign minister has warned Western countries of “enormous risks” if Ukraine is provided with F-16 fighter jets, Russian state media TASS reported Saturday.

The comments come after US President Joe Biden gave his backing for Ukrainian pilots to be trained to fly F-16s, reversing his previous position.

F-16s are considered high performance weapon systems with a range of 500 miles (860 kilometers), and would be an upgrade to the aircraft currently in Ukraine’s fleet.

Sounds like the usual tough talk that won't be backed up by any action since Muscovy is actually powerless to do anything about it. In short, green light. Let's get 'er done! Time to put Bill's tax dollars to even better use :)

Video with narration in subtitles. Sounds like Ukraine's pilots will be able to train on the F-16 in just a few months, potentially.

UAF pilots will receive some of the world's best training....on F16 platforms and NATO indoctrination....

I foresee little to no more Migs or SUs in Ukraine.....maybe in a museum?

    Eventually, absolutely.

I expect they'll have F-35s and be in NATO within a decade, too.

If they train the pilots in the US, I wonder how many will go AWOL, wanting to never return to that Zelensky Hell Hole?

It takes far more to operate a sophisticated aircraft like the F16 than just training pilots. Managing F16s requires an infrastructure. Who will provide that in just 4 months? NATO contractors?

Yes, strange how Bidens policy is to slow walk all arms supplies to Ukraine. His military strategy on the day Russia invaded Ukraine was to give Zelenski a fast jet ride out of Ukraine before Russia took over Kiev.
Imagine if we instead had a strategy to help Ukraine win the war as opposed to dragging out the war as long as possible to bleed Russia of resources.

I see it as the MiGs and Sukhois will be phased out only as fast as they can be replaced with modern fighter-bombers.

True....those Migs and Suck-hois are reaching or have reached end of life sustainability.

I wonder if Ukraine wants and there is discussion about A-10s as well, or if they're considered too outdated and vulnerable at this point.
