If we spend 2% of our GDP on defense, our military would be bigger than UK and France combined.

You do realize that we would want considerable changes in NATO and UN then? For example a seat in the UN security council. High command over NATO, bases in North America ect

Also how you think this would work? Our yards have slots. We cant build dozens of aircraft carriers ect all at same time. It would need time to build up our stock if we decide to spend more.

Biden is the joke. He told an audience that white people want to put blacks back in chains. He is abominable.
Watched a news piece out of Australia and the anchor was laughing at biden's run for the president. He said the poor old fool can barely stay awake.

Not a one since then. Not a one deserved my vote. Not by a long shot...although I would GLADLY vote for any of them rather than Trump, including the ones who lost.

It is simply the truth that globally both our allies and our enemies see Trump as an ignorant, ineffectual, incompetent buffoon. The Russians and Chinese are delighted with this situation, while our allies are doing their best to maintain economic and global security until the USA's current nightmare finally passes.

I certainly do not want Biden or any of the current herd of Democratic candidates to replace Trump. Nor do I want Trump to win again. Problem I see is that the Democrats have failed to come up with a non-idiot to face off against the buffoon currently in the White House. We are trapped in an insane spectacle of partisan stupidity from both both sides.

The end result of which is that the Senate will perform a perfunctory trial of the Articles of Impeachment, a trial where the outcome (an acquittal) was announced last week, Trump will win the next election and this evil clown circus will continue another four years.

Unless we get really lucky and Trump's lousy diet and high blood pressure remove him from our national nightmare via perfectly natural means.
