IF the unscrupulous can violate your mentality and make you believe foolish things and outright lies- you will repeat them and say what they want you to. No need to shut you up by attacking the first amendment, instead they use their right to deceive you- and then defend your right to distort and spread the lies they fed you.... with the first amendment.
Unless of course you resisted assimilation and were not sufficiently intimidated to keep quiet, at which time you become a radical white supremacist racist spreading misinformation.....

Here's a head to head comparison of two heavily politicized issues, which demonstrates just how wacky things have become since we started tolerating bullshit from radicals, and lowering the bar of justice as well at that of socially acceptable behavior, moral standards and judgement.

 

We try to elect leaders based on three things:
1. The goals they have for the country. These can be nothing but advertising or lip service to voters- or they can be promises.

2. Their ability and competence to pursue those goals. This is the strength and commitment to those goals and objectives they bring to the table.

3. The integrity to do the job honorably- This is the character, the commitment to be open and truthful with the people about all things.

We know we will never get all these things in a faultless way, but the more important these things are to a leader, the better he serves the people.
Unfortunately, we don't know how wise a choice we have made until that choice is in office...
The Trump goals were pursued with strength and dedication, in the face of great opposition from those who wanted to sell their vision.
They worked hard (and still are) to turn the phrase MAGA , the goals for America the people endorsed by electing Trump, into something equivalent to evil.
We have allowed their party to take control of the nation...

Now, it's time to look at what we got for doing that... compare where we are under the goals and competence of the left, to the goals and competence of the right, and the MAGA concept Trump brought to the office of president. The man may be blunt and at times offensive to some... but that is not a disqualification unless all you care about are superficial things.
It's performance that counts. How's the left doing at delivering that??




Compare that to the Biden plan of "AMERICA LAST". No, that wasn't the campaign promise... it is the reality of what they are delivering.

People are only capable of making decisions on the basis of what they believe they know. The ultimate way to control people and destroy their freedom is not external force- but manipulation of what they believe, and that is done with manipulations of news, of educational processes, of cultural value systems, and characterizations of positions- labeling things or people in alternate ways to change the perception of them.
Only the most devious and despicable people will do this, because it requires they have no moral values at all, no respect for any but themselves, and actually seek to destroy the nation they are part of.
