Indeed, I applaud such actions. Most folks hide their ignorance and bigotry within their minds when in polite society, or express it form the safety of the anonymity of the internet. I think what the statement I cited did was show a leadership member of this community center did exactly what your posted stated folks were not doing, hence dispelling your argument, and now the parameters under which the statement was made have been changed to try and add some validity to said dispelled argument. In short, your post is moving the goalposts as the position expressed in a previous post was demonstrated to be incorrect.

 

That is happening in this country? Or is it happening within unrelated Islamic sects in other countries, hence a group of "patriotic" cartoonists carrying guns got to Phoenix to a community center and have a celebration of ignorance and bigotry out front?

The things you cite and this community center are not related. I would be like these bikers going to the Mormon headquarters in Salt Lake City and protesting there over the action's of the Lord's Resistance Army. The two things are not remotely connected, yet when it comes to Islam folks in this country are claiming all is the same.

The reality is there are what, 5,000,000 Muslims int he US, and the incidents like that in Texas happen every few years? By one or two guys? The incidence rate is so statistically low as to virtually eliminate all religious factors and simply say every group of 5,000,000 is going to have a crackpot or two.

 

I wont be satisfied until "moderate" muslims are publicly beating the crap out of muslim extremists in the streets, and willing to go to jail doing it. If they show THAT level of dedication, then maybe I will start to believe they are serious. until then, it's all part of the long term plan of global jihad. I agree that some muslims are good. But they have to prove it to me. The not so good ones ruined it for the good ones. Is that bigotry? maybe. I dont care. That attitude is the only way this nation is going to survive.

Sure it does. A nation whose laws are based on Christian traditions will not be able to mix with a huge group of people whose religion is not separate from their law. As soon as you have more people like that than you have of traditional americans, it's all over.

 

Anyone is going to condemn this in front of a forced audience. Lets see them condemn it on their own without the media having to hunt them down.

I am moving nothing, I am simply stating that muslims can do more than just wait for someone to ask them a question, they can get their asses out there and be loud about it on their own. Or do you not feel that would be a good gesture as the Muslims performed in Oslo?

In an amazing though not surprising twist, if you go to the Facebook page for this rally titled "Freedom of Speech Rally Round II", it is loaded with a bunch of threats of violence, pro Klan statement, anti gay, and pro White Nationalist sentiments.

In short, looks like a group of your average, run of the mill Stormfronters.


Interestingly enough, the fellow leading this parade put forth a powerful argument, along the lines of 'Sharia law and stuff sucks", seems to not really have much of a message.

But our laws are pretty much based in Christian tradition, not Muslim tradition.
