Lol! Who knew women back then were so risque? I never realized until I started looking at these black and white photos.
Some of the costumes they wore back then were really cool, IMO. I don't think I'd wear that hat though. Lol!
Personally I think that the clothing worn between 1935 and 1949 was the height of Stylism Americana. Men all wore stylish suits and hats and women wore either very smart outfits or dresses that celebrated femininity. Now obviously it must to been a real pain in the ass to get dressed up like that just to go the Drug Store!! LOL!! But you cannot deny people looked sharp. AA
