A large number of visitors (450 contenders) participated in the naked run during the Zwarte Cross festival. They took their clothes off to protest against the lack of freedom of speech in Russia. Zwarte Cross and Amnesty International were responsible for the organisation of the naked run for freedom.

So...that is how protecting human rights looks like? Bunch of naked people, some of them with erection, running around?
In my humble opinion they should concentrate on fighting fat instead of...ughhh...human rights.
Europe looks like extended gutters these days.

No, it's what marketing looks like and, despite your pretence of disgust, it appears to have worked very well on you.

Marketing should be based on positive emotions rather than causing disgust.
So pray tell me, how it "worked very well on me"?

How marketing should be done is a matter of opinion. That it is sometimes based on the negative or obscure is a reality whether we like it or not. "There's no such thing as bad publicity" as they say.

We can tell it worked on you because you came here and (inadvertently) promoted the cause, the organisations involved and even gave a link people could follow to find out more. It there hadn't been pictures of naked people, I very much doubt you would have bothered and none of us would even be aware of the campaign. :)

Hmmm...no, if you want to change people mind in the way you desire you should attempt to cause some kind of catharsis to thing/idea/phenomenon/whatever. If you caused negative emotions with your perfomance it would work like an anti-advertising.
In other words:"These people are disgusting, this thing they are doing is disgusting, so their views must be disgusting also".
    Great job, folks.

I promoted the case, which would only disattract people from supporting any human rights organisations.

So I fail to see how it helps the organizers. It only harms them. They must be really stupid.
