There would be some out there that don't think Derek Chauvin or his family should have any pension or anything.

The protests for George Floyd will continue until Derek Chauvin pleads guilty or is found guilty and on way or another Chauvin is guilty and I guarantee it.

Don't fool yourself. There are no protests for George Floyd.

Well there isn't anything that can be done now. It's done and that's all there is to it.

These protests/riots have absolutely nothing to do with George Floyd. This was planned before George Floyd was killed. The protests/riots are a Democrat hail Mary play. Their strategy is to stoke racial tension and cause economic harm. They figure it's the only way they'll have a chance in the next election.

The Democratic party thrives on poverty and racial division, while the Republican party thrives on prosperity and racial harmony.

George Floyd’s family filed a lawsuit Wednesday against the city of Minneapolis and the four police officers charged in his death, alleging the officers violated Floyd’s rights when they restrained him and that the city allowed a culture of excessive force, racism and impunity to flourish in its police force.

The lawsuit came the same day that members of a city charter commission took public comments on a proposal to dismantle the Minneapolis Police Department. Many residents strongly favored putting the proposal to a citywide vote in November.

The civil rights lawsuit, filed in U.S. District Court in Minnesota, was announced by attorney Ben Crump and other lawyers representing Floyd’s family members. It seeks compensatory and special damages in an amount to be determined by a jury. It also asks for a receiver to be appointed to ensure that the city properly trains and supervises officers in the future.

Which should have no influence whatsoever on the verdict.

Why ever not? He just had the bad luck to be called to the one in a million drug addict who died when he resisted arrest.

I didn't say the protests/riots were only about that. A major strategic goal is obviously to spread COVID-19.

Why would you stage BLM COVID-19 parties if you did not want to spread the disease? Have you heard any Democrats complaining about the lack of physical distancing at the BLM C-19 parties?

    Nope.

The flimsy mask wearing BS is just to hide criminal identities.

    As I said...

Hennepin EMS paramedic Derek Smith testified that he checked Floyd's pulse while three officers were on the patient, and he did not detect one. He also checked his pupils, which were dilated.

"I looked to my partner, I told him 'I think he's dead, and I want to move this out of here and begin care in the back,' " Smith said, noting the agitated crowd of bystanders. "In a living person, there should be a pulse there. I did not feel one. I suspected this patient to be dead."

Chauvin should go to jail for several decades. His best defense was to claim he ( Chauvin) was on drugs and zoned out. He truly looked out of it and confused on the videos.

What are you talking about? He was calm and collected faced with a violent prisoner and angry mob?

The BLM/ANTIFA mobs won't be satisfied with anything less than Chauvin being found guilty of First Degree Murder, 'racism', being White, and whatever else they can dream up in their frenzies. Blacks in the 'usual' lib-infested cities will riot, rampage, burn, loot, and pillage if Chauvin isn't found guilty of First Degree Murder... wait and see! Oh, the jury will find Chauvin guilty of something, because otherwise they will be threatened with death and their homes will be burned down. Truth? There should have been a change-of-venue for this trial!

At some point it will come out that, basically, Chauvin was using Minneapolis Police Department approved and prescribed methods for taking down a violent, arrest-resisting person. Ooh! That's when the trial will get really nasty, but there's absolutely no way in hell that Chauvin gets nailed for either First Degree or Second Degree Murder -- and the prosecutors KNOW this -- which is why they decided to throw a "Third Degree Murder" charge in, hopes that they can get the judge and jury to bite on that. Chauvin isn't a doctor, so he was trying to do a cop's job the way he understood a cop should do it -- but now his life is completely ruined.

It won't save Minneapolis, though. So they find him guilty of Third Degree Murder... what's the 'Black community' going to do...? Parts of Minneapolis will look like Berlin at the end of World War II....

Too bad that the Minneapolis officers didn't just give Floyd a nice, drenching pepper-spray in the face, handcuff him, throw his criminal ass in the patrol car, and drive away! None of this would have needed to have happened. Woulda, coulda, shoulda.

We used to do that when arresting the Outlaws, it made for a fun ride back to the jail, even with the windows down.
