All true. And the smart people behind it I can understand, since they have an agenda (to disempower us to the point where we must purchase our survival anew every day) - it's those who can't see the connection between spoiling the child and creating a monster who remain the mystery.

    No, never.

Social disharmony is a result of CULTURAL diversity. Has nothing to do with biology.

What ARE we discussing? I get confused.

Can you refer me to your beginning post in the present discussion, please and thank you. I can't seem to track it down over the last several.

I'm going to assume this is sarcasm.

If it's not maybe you can provide statistics on how many white folks go into predominantly black neighborhoods committing burglaries.

How about these "White Saviors" shut the hell up, control their own lives, and we just let Americans live where they please?

Didn’t stop the real estate industry from removing Master bedroom from their vocabulary:) The tech industry is still trying to remove master and slave from hard drive vernacular.

It’s never ending the absurdity that leftists can summon, hehe.

The idea that an egalitarian society can be achieved or maintained through the mechanism of blind neutrality is fallacious. Racial discrimination is powerful precisely because of its frequent invisibility and its seeming "neutrality".

With the current work being done to confront racism, many white Americans feel that their natural god given right to white privilege is being taken away from them by moves toward equality. The familiarity and comfort they/we have been granted for the past few hundred years is slipping away. As the saying goes "to a person used to privilege, equality feels like oppression."

The point is that we cannot have equality before the law in a culture steeped in racism.

I have no reason to believe a word of that, and I see it as "fear-based propaganda".

Sure, the reality of privilege engenders the illusion of entitlement. Welcome to life; there's no going back.

Your lack of rational perception on this is most unfortunate, kind of like having no compass or navigational skills in the middle of the pacific. You can make things up, believe what you wish.
While there are a great many in life who think of themselves as victims, the vast majority of those have no idea that they are victims of themselves- avoiding accepting that responsibility by the convenience of blaming others. That is far more comfortable, requires no effort on their part. Also achieves nothing but to make things worse.

Of course you don't believe a word of it- and that tells me that is what's more comfortable for you.... and that tells me where you are at The world is using you, it's all their fault. End of discussion.

Black People Need a Safe State in America—Let’s Make It Georgia

    We do?

I live in one of the whitest towns in the nation...All of my neighbors are white, all of my friends here are white, and whenever I head out to the local bar on the weekends, which I will be doing again tonight, I sit down next to pretty much nothing but white people. Some I know, some I don't. The ones I know I met by going to sit down in a bar next to a bunch of white people one day... I did that when I first moved here. Drove around, saw a bar, I like beer, went into the bar, saw nothing but white guys sitting there, asked if the seat was taken, and sat down...

We even have a Chapter of a very famous 1%er Motorcycle Club here. Met one of those dudes once, he invited me to their bar and I hung out with them. I've been back a handful of times, cool guys. (Do not drink with 1%ers though...holy crap I thought I could drink...)

And all of these white people live in one of the most heavily armed counties in the entire world. Everybody has guns, half the guys in the local bar bring guns in there (not really supposed to). I've managed to somehow live here and walk around this community full of nothing but heavily armed crazy white people for years and not only not even get so much as harassed but rather befriended by pretty much everybody I've met. My entire neighborhood is full of affluent middle class white people with guns and when they see me walking down the road to my mail box or riding my 4 wheeler around they wave and say good morning, they don't shoot me...

I feel quite safe here. I grew up in all black communities, have fun with that I'll stay right here. I know full well what it feels like to be black and "walk on pins and needles" in a community out of fear for your personal wellbeing. It's called living in Baltimore.

Racial equality has been enshrined in law for a long time - and has only recently begun to be dismantled (by the Left, no irony there).

And you have a major reading problem. I never said racial discrimination is "powerful because of its neutrality". E-frigging GAD!

What you said was, "Racial discrimination is powerful precisely because of its frequent invisibility and its seeming "neutrality"."

So what was I wrong about?

Do you really think that is a declaration of discrimination's "neutrality"? If I say "Trump seems to be stupid" is that the same as saying "Trump is stupid"? I mean, he is, but we're talking about wording and meanings of words which SEEM (there's that word again!) to escape you.

The inability to stay on track and follow even a single thought without "TRUMP" jumping right in the middle of it is truly astounding. It reminds me of Vonnegut's Harrison Bergeron, in which smart people were given a buzzer that went off every few seconds so they couldn't complete a thought (for equity of course). Only in this case, you are ringing the Trump buzzer yourself, as if you were controlling your own drip of morphine.

Now, let's go over your statement again:

"Racial discrimination is powerful precisely because of its frequent invisibility and its seeming "neutrality"."

It sounds as if what you are describing is the very opposite of racial discrimination, i.e. no discrimination. Historically racial discrimination has been very visible and not at all neutral; it was enshrined into law and was prominently displayed in signs, manners, and custom. Describing racial discrimination as invisible and neutral...well invisible and neutral has been the goal of the civil rights movement, so are you opposed to that or simply don't have any idea what you're talking about?
