That sounds like a lot of anti-Bloomers propaganda. He identified a serious problem and worked out an expensive ($127,000,000) three-year program to help correct it. Was he wrong to identify a serious problem and to raise $127 million to address it? We know PODS trump is so racist he wouldn't offer a black person a place to live. So which of the two seems to be the better person?

Nah, he doesn't need to offer any free stuff above the usual, although adding reparations could be a nice touch. Blacks are voting Democrat this year regardless of who's the nominee. The only variable is the enthusiasm.

Bottom line is you want to have the moral high ground when fighting trump. After seeing just a bit of the stuff that came out recently on Bloomberg, I don’t think indepedents will consider him much different than a trump after all this comes out more.

Sure Democrats will probably try to defend the comments somehow, but I think independents will be turned off by this, and I don’t see him, or the other candidates really, picking up significant minority votes.

If he doesn't he'll certainly buy one. Here in NYC his commercials are on every few minutes and there's not a white person to be seen in any of them except for him. I lived through his entire 12 years as mayor here - and he was pretty good for most of them - and those commercials are nothing but revisionist history of him being some crusading reparations champion of the underclass.

It all varies from one type of workplace to another, of course, but in a lot of settings, minority "youth" behave like slovenly, surly, lazy jerks -- mostly because that kind of behavior was tolerated and even encouraged in the culture they were born into and in which they had lived all their lives.
