She might be correct though. With Obama kowtowing to every country on earth how do we know he didn't create a touchy-feely atomic bomb???

These Democrats that get elected to office get dumber by the year.

"Tactile" - She deserves to get mocked endlessly for that one. Hank Johnson is already writing his next speech to include it. Maybe he can put those weapons on Guam and hopefully it won't flip the island over. Are they heavy?

This is why many people are losing trust in the media and are laughing at liberals. Trump never said that it is a fact that Windmills cause cancer. What he said was:

"And they say the noise causes cancer".

Instead of spinning it to appear that Trump made this statement as being fact, the media should be pushing him on who "they" are. He is certainly guilty of spreading unproven claims and rumors....something that a sitting President should never do, however, he did not make this statement as fact.

Unfortunately, even some major news outlets are changing the quote. Here is how Politifact quotes him:

Politico is not quoting Trump accurately and make it appear he is making a statement of fact. Basically, they are as guilty of the same thing they are saying Trump is guilty of......spreading "Fake News".

Pretty close... will you at least admit this direct quote is something Trump said? Can we at least agree on that??

"If you have a windmill anywhere near your house, congratulations, your house just went down 75 percent in value," Trump told his fellow Republicans April 2. "And they say the noise causes cancer."

Then we can debate the idiocy....

A lib moron like Gillibrand probably knows more about dildoes than she does about nuclear weapons. After all, both are "tactile", in a sense....

Or are you going to go with the "They say" cop out??

Face it... you blindly support a buffoon... you should be proud to defend his statements.....

Trump said "And they say the noise causes cancer.". This is a factual statement. There are some people that do claim that windmills cause cancer. My wife is one of them. Over the years of looking and buying houses, the wife would never live in a house within a mile of a substation. Today, it is cell towers. She really does not even want wi-fi in our house.

Is she correct? Who knows. Nothing scientific has been proven and I kind of chuckle inside (I'm not brave enough to chuckle out loud) when she makes these claims.

However, when Trump says "And they say the noise causes cancer.".....he is correct. There ARE some people that claim that windmills cause cancer. With his qualifier of "And they say....", that implies that it is a rumor he heard, but he is not claiming it as being fact. The spin that Trump made this statement as it being fact that windmills cause cancer is nothing more than partisan spin.

Well, at least you can make a logical defense for Trump even bringing up this completely loony theory... unlike others who will remain nameless (Cough Bucky Cough)

You think the average Trump supporter can follow your differentiation?? No Chance....

Trump says "They say the noise causes cancer"

Trump base hears: "The noise causes cancer"

Ya know what? Maybe this is a good argument why our stable genius shouldn't be trafficking in rumors..... It's not like he has access to people who can produce facts or scientific research on topics....

So, your only retort is that Trump supporters are to dumb to comprehend the words that were actually said? That is a bit of an ad hominem towards Trump supporters, don't you think. It seem like a very weak argument.

In reality, I have not heard a single Trump supporter claim that what Trump implied was the truth. However, I have seen many liberals say "Trump said the noise causes cancer".....when he did not (though I do agree that he did imply it in a fashion). So, it appears that it is some of the anti-Trumpers that can not follow the differentiation of what was actually said.

The real problem is the base keeps employing them decade after decade. They cradle the unintelligent like they are Gods, then again, if someone feeds, houses and pays for everything you need in life, then I guess they would be!

    Tac-tile :roflol:

The Democratic party has more than a few...

Remember Rep. Hank Johnson (D) ?

Referring to if we put U.S. Marines on the island of Guam..."My fear is that the whole island will become so overly populated that it will tip over and capsize"

I wouldn't say too dumb... I would say too far gone, but that's implied by their continued unquestioned support of this person...

"imply it in a fashion"... OK.. It's crystal clear what he wanted taken from that quote...

This is fun... you seem to want to be able to translate Trump-To-English....please tell me what Trump was implying when he tweeted my personal 2018 Lie of the Year

There is no longer a Nuclear Threat from North Korea.

That is an unfortunate malady of the human nature. "Those that do not agree with me are either stupid or too far gone". Personally, I feel it says a lot more about the person that beliefs that, than the people they claim are "too far gone". It implies to me that the person that is of that opinion has closed their mind to the thinking of others and refuse to even listen to the point of view of others. It also implies that the person that is of that opinion really has no real valid arguments to support their own opinions and they are left with only one argument....."You're a poopy head".

It is only "crystal clear" in your own mind as that is how you want it to be. Yes, he was disparaging windmills and he was throwing stuff against a wall. Similar to what we do here on this forum on a daily basis. While this is not exactly how I would wish our President to act, this is what we got....and one of the reasons we are now burdened with this President is because too many people have been telling others "You're a poopy head" for the past 8+ years.

While I prefer to NOT let this dripping mediocrity continue to say and do unsupportable crap unquestioned, or shrug it off with phrases like "this is what we got"...

    To each their own...
