Dude he was operating in the city of New York in the early part of his career where that was the only way to get anything done. You see if you are going to be successful in a corrupt system you either go with the flow or you sleep with the fishes. And let's not forget New York has a history of corruption going back very nearly to the beginnings of the country, and for the most part it has been Democratic Party corruption. They got rid og Boss Tweed thanks in no small part to Thomas Nast but all that did was change the guy that got the Payola. Further there is immensely more at stake than Roe V wade, the second amendment and Citizens United. If that was all it was SCOTUS wouldn't be much of an issue for me wither. If Hillary gets elected any and all chances to reign in bureaucratic overreach dies with her election at least for another 3 or 4 decades.
