Do you lock your door at home? Why? You know they can still get in your house.

Do your safeguards your online passwords? Why? You know they can still get into your accounts.

Do you wear a seatbelt when your drive? Why? You know.....well you get the ideal....

If I had to pay $30 billion for a lock on my door that is still more vulnerable than other means of security and no more secure than the existing lock, I would choose to save my money.......get the idea?

You think any average person can do that? And there are many ways we can stop people from crossing. Taking away all the carrots or simply shooting anyone near the border that doesn’t own the land or work for ICE. Consider them enemy combatants and it’s all over. Let’s see how many people risk their lives?

You gotta love the anti wall Democrats. If we can't stop all child rapists, murderers, thieves, freeloaders and gang members well heck we shouldn't build anything. And no before any far lefty lies about my post that doesn't mean all illegals fit that category but if any do that's too many to let in.

That you put a dollar value on the integrity of American sovereignty. Yep got it. I think that is insane but I got it...

I and so many other do not put a dollar value on it, epically if it's measured in the billions.

What state do you live in?

I'm from and we take it pretty serious here. It's not about skin color, that is just a liberal talking points. The Hispanic culture is integral and vital to the state I love. There were Mexicans inside the walls of the Alamo as well as outside them. If there was not a very heavy Hispanic culture here then Texas would not be Texas. I cherish the fact that it is part of who we are as a state.

It's not about immigration, again a liberal talking point. My family immigrated here generations ago, I welcome immigration that is legally done. Illegally, no it is not welcomed here.

Things like the border wall are about the fact that we have the right and the duty to protect our borders, otherwise why have them?

An average person was not able to climb the old wall either. The average young male could climb the old wall as well as the new wall. Even the average fit school boy would be able to climb the new wall using one of those rope ladders - I was able to climb a 20 ft single rope at school and I was just average fit schoolboy. But at least you are now accepting that the wall is not needed since you'll be able to shoot them whether a wall is there or not

I always believed cutting off the carrots was the cheapest way to easily make most illegals self deport. It doesn’t cost money to end birth right citizenship. It doesn’t cost money to charge Mexico for every illegal that enters ours country through theirs. It doesn’t cost money to deny public services to non citizens. It costs money to deport people, but if we get it back in the form of garnishing Mexico’s or foreign aid, it’s all a wash. It’s a start.

What percent of illegal immigrants can walk around an incomplete fence, swim or boat around the portion that meets a lake or ocean, fly in or take a tunnel in?

    100%

Just about anyone that isn’t infirm can take a ladder 30 feet. So you stopped 90 year old granny, comgrats!

No, you invest your money where it can do the most good.
Border check points are the routes for most smuggling both human and drugs, with improved systems they can stop much much more than they already do. It does no good to build a wall and leave the gate open.
More ships and planes for the Coast Guard. The Coast Guard reports more and more drug smuggling via submersibles for which they are woefully unequipped to check. As a bonus maritime safety improves at the same time saving lives.
That was the proposal the Democrats put on the table when Trump had his hissy fit and shut down the government.
The wall is nothing but a monument. Trump believes it's a monument by him but many of us believe it's a monument to hatred.

Yep, let's spend billions on the same thing so that we feel we're doing something even though it has been repeatedly shown that it has no significant effect

So, you agree that we need a wall that spans the entire border in order to keep illegal immigrants from walking "around an incomplete fence?" Good to know.

    Tunnels? Ground sensors of course.

Fly? Like our air traffic system can't detect that now?

Lake? What percent of illegal immigrants cross via a lake? And if there is a wall the entire border, then that frees up border agents to concentrate their efforts near lakes, right?

    Ocean? Coast guard of course.

    NEXT!

Funny, wasn't long ago, democrats were FOR a wall (or fence, barricade, either way). Plenty of smuggling happens over the border.

We could build it for a fraction of the $ the idiot gave Iran. Remember when Democrats were all for a wall?
