I don't take them seriously because of what I've seen coming from the MSM. They've dropped all pretence about being objective. Actual polling companies? I guess gallup might be considered real, but they've gotten it spectacularly wrong several times. They were off by 10% when Reagan beat Carter. That's because they use statistical random sampling, and then weight the samples according to formulas thought up by their analytics brainiacs. They can get it close during a normal election, but how would they deal with this particular election? I've never seen such a mess before. We've got a republican who isn't a republican, a democrat who is the insider of insiders when there aren't any democrats who want another insider. She's on death's door, and Trump is... Trump. Both have their core supporters (trump has far more), but most people are simply aghast that these are the two choices. So yeah, even if a real polling place like gallup is totally on the up and up, I think they're looking at this race and considering pulling numbers out of a hat.
