So now your opinion is empirical? And why do you only reference two years. What a joke of a responce. I don't expect any of it as truth. Just some guy on the internet talking trash.

I asked for empirical and I got anecdotal. I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR LITTLE OPINIONS.

"Liberals, racist bigots"? LMAO!!!! First let's fact check the site you linked and the bogus reporting of that extremist website, 'LifeSiteNews' You people are so desperate that you'll search for something, anything that you feel serves your agenda. You never post links from legitimate mainstream news whether it's the BBC, Aljazeera, NBC, CBS, etc. etc. You never post a REAL news source, it's always some far-right fringe site. That's why nobody can take any of your bogus conspiracy theories seriously.

    Analysis / Bias

In review, LifeSiteNews primarily reports on anti-abortion, anti-gay marriage, and pro-Evangelical Christian Issues. An example of a pro-Christian story can be found here: Why being Christian means traveling with Jesus from Bethlehem to Calvary. LifeSiteNews also has a favorable opinion of President Trump as evidenced by this piece: How Trump brought Christmas back to America. Editorially, every single story is right leaning, such as this story that also sources non-credible sources such as Rush Limbaugh and CNSNews. In general, story selection favors the Christian right and denigrates the left.

A factual search reveals that LifeSiteNews has failed fact checks here and here.

Overall, we rate LifeSiteNews far right biased based on story selection that always favors evangelical Christianity and Mixed for factual reporting due to a few failed fact checks. (11/25/2016) Updated (D. Van Zandt 12/28/2018)

Oh how sweet it ISN'T!! Nice cap, you can be sure I will personally fact-check the hell out of you.

Not seeing how you get from there to a guaranteed settlement, since he could pursue the case and still get monetary damages.

I'm only betting that WAPO will settle out of court. I'm not seeing this as a 1st amendment right issue. WAPO may try to make it into one.
Dershowitz thinks sandman's Attorney, Woods is approaching his case the wrong way, so who knows.
Dershowitz says Nick Sandmann's lawyers made a 'serious tactical blunder' in suit against the Washington Post

Interesting that this extensive post doesn't attempt to "fact-check" the post that it referenced.

BREAKING: Nick Sandmann files $250 million lawsuit against Washington Post

Yeah, whatever errors were made, maybe it's worth two hundred fifty dollars and a free 12 month subscription to the print edition of the Washington Post but that's about it. Any damages the teen suffered amount to pizza, beer and condom money, nothing more.

There’s all kinds of evidence of media bias. The UCLA School of Journalism did an excellent study. I’m not going to do your research for you.

If you don’t see media bias, you are beyond naive.

You're right, I didn't fact check the article, I fact checked the source. When I see that the source is an extremist or far-right source, then I won't waste my time. I would rather spend my time checking the facts on a mainstream media source because even those need to be checked for misleading innuendo. I will always verify any story with at least 3 other mainstream media sources before I start a thread or use it for reference in a comment.

Oh I see plenty, on both sides. Just don't see it as more one than another. So to those crying about the liberal media being over the top I'm asking for empirical evidence that the liberal media is larger and more powerful than the conservative media and
    What I get is BS.

Sorry, I'm not following your logic. It appears that you are willing to waste your time by looking up what Snopes says about that site and then posting it.

FOX and AM radio vs CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, CBS, NPR, late night talk shows, daytime talk shows, VICE, Comedy Central, Hollywood, most newspapers, Entertainment Weekly, any magazines targeted at minorities, well over 80% of Journalists identify as Democrat, the vast majority of professors teaching those journalism students, ect, ect, ect.

Either you accept reality or continue to live in ignorance.

    Do you mean theoretically?

By what process do you "see" plenty of bias?

I am having difficulty understanding how you might be able to "see" plenty of media bias, yet be unable to "see" that there is vastly more left leaning media than right leaning media.

The $250 million number is merely what Bezos paid for the WaPo and the starting point for the settlement.

Ahhh no the right wing media just did not swallow it hook line and sinker and pointed out the blaring red flags in the story while the left wing media did swallow it especially ABC which gave the liar a 2 segment GMA sympathetic interview and then 30 minutes on 20/20.

Over the next 2-3 months, more lawsuits will be rolled out against those in the media that slandered this young student. People like Don Lemon, Elizabeth Warren and Bill Maher better start to get a legal team in place. They will need it.
