She would have been a minor and they could not have treated her without her parents permission. Didn't her mother ask her how she got any injuries.

There is this canard that women don't report it to the police so that's why no one knows about it. Well there's a big difference between not reporting it to authorities to prosecute the other person and telling your best friend or you mother or your sister or you preacher or your school advisor. Women seek out such counseling for everything. And then the fact certainly if it happened as she said she would think he was a threat to the other girls why wouldn't she warn them even if it was just a
"Hey he's a lust don't go into a room alone with him or the backseat of the car" Didn't she have a duty to warn other girls, heck she says she thought he was going to kill her. Not even your BBF in secret to keep her safe?

 

Obviously he hasn't been following any of the details; since everything we have been telling him in this thread is a surprise to him. I'm thinking about placing him on my ignore list as just another troll.

 

Maybe she is lying. I don't know and you don't know. But, she did tell both her therapist and her husband about the alleged incident in 2012, long before Kavanaugh was even on the radar as a SCOTUS nominee, and those therapist notes can be subpoenaed and released with her consent.

From what I understand, she just decided it was Kavanaugh when he was nominated to the supreme court. Also, someone said his mother, Judge Kavanagh, ruled over foreclosing proceedings on Ford's mother's property. Seems like there is a revenge factor, doesn't it?

 

You are trying to apply rational, adult thought processes to a fifteen year old girl. I happen to have one of those, and their thought processes are anything but adult, or rational.

What hearing? As stated several times before, I don’t know what Ford thinks she’ll get by testifying. It’s he said/she said and it’s one woman against a roomful of white, male Republicans. She’s just getting it off her chest. Graham has already said her testimony doesn’t matter.

I wouldn't be so sure of that, in my opinion. These are some pretty high stakes, and I'd like to think that the Democrats went to bat with a little bit more than "she said/he said".

There are teases that records of the assault exist, at least records of injuries Ford acquired at the time, according to her letter to Feinstein. And, there are definitely records from her therapy in 2012 where she acknowledges the alleged assault. Whether those records name Kavanaugh explicitly, I just don't know. But, with stakes this high, I will not be surprised if there turns out to be more evidence than is obvious today.

It would be fantastic political theater to have every white, penis wielding senator, condemn Ford only to have her present evidence that backs her claim, and then be witness to the backpedalling sure to ensue from the Oval Office on down.

 

And by 'records of injuries', we would mean Ford's "claims" of injuries, which circles right back to the beginning: No one but Ford has told these tales, no one backs up Ford's account.

Hell, the claim of injuries contradicts her letter where she said he 'clumsily' tried to take off her clothes and covered her mouth. In her initial letter, she said nothing of injuries.

Nothing, NOTHING Dr. Ford has said has been consistent. Cross-examination would be absolutely beautiful. Especially since she can't confirm a date, but Kavanaugh can bring a calendar of where he's been in the year of 1982.

The Left really needs to escape, as gracefully as they can because this is not going to be the Anita Hill hearing. This can only be bad for the Democratic Party.
