This guy was ISIS's operational commander and thought to be #2 behind al-Baghdadi. Nice intelligence-driven hit.

    Well done. :salute:

So who's the #2 ISIS leader today ?

I hope this doesn't become like Al Qaeda. I still can't believe how many Al Qaeda top leaders Obama have killed. Al Qaeda has more leaders than the entire U.S. military has generals and admirals and the U.S. Navy has more admirals than it has ships.

Well at least the mastermind of 9/11 is still behind bars.

It's a good hit, but a failed policy by Obama. This is not how you destroy an enemy. We take out a leader, a month later, take out the next. These guys are recruiting faster than we can kill the 'important' people. This is why we need a Commander in Chief that actually led in the military. Unlike our Civilian in Chief that is destroyed everything we've worked for.

Yeah, but I still smile when one of these dirtbags gets what he's got coming. Remember Mullah Omar, the head of the Afghan taliban? Well he finally died of natural causes in exile somewhere in Pakistan, and he was replaced by a guy named Mansoor. Well Mansoor only lasted a couple of months until a hellfire hit his car a few months ago. Also ISIS has been trying to get a foothold in Afghanistan, and the they had a top dog for Afghanistan. He's dead too, recently. He got hellfire disease as well.

Yeah, a good hit. Looking forward to them getting al-Baghdadi. They will. His days are numbered.

You can get a real good flavor for how our government does this by reading the book "Relentless Strike: The Secret History of Joint Special Operations Command", by Sean Naylor. This outfit friggin kicks you know what! The book takes you through it's beginnings to the present day. The outfit had a lot of problems to overcome in its history as the book explains, but in modern times JSOC has evolved into one lethal and well-oiled machine. Fascinating book. When I hear of these hits we make, I think I have a fairly good idea of how we did it.

    Cheers, guys

    He would deserve it.

More likely, though, it was just "poof".

I wish the U.S. would release the footage.

And how many U.S. Marines, soldiers and sailors and maybe some airmen were killed in Afghanistan ?

More American troops were killed in Afghanistan during the first 3 and 1/2 years of the Obama administration than the entire 8 years of the Bush administration.
1/2 of those American troops were killed because of Obama's politically correct "Rules of Engagement" that favored the enemy and caused American troops to bleed and die in the name of liberal PC political correctness.

By 2002 Al Qaeda had fled Afghanistan and went into hiding in Yemen and the Horn of Africa unable to conduct terrorist operations against the USA.

By 2003 the Taliban had their butts whipped a bloody red and would flee to Pakistan to lick their wounds . As soon as they saw stupid liberal Americans politicize the war in Iraq the Taliban would remember the Vietnam War and start slithering back into Afghanistan.

When Obama became POTUS AL Qaeda was already decimated. But Obama's first mistake was to support the Arab Spring. Then Obama threw a long time alley under the bus (Mubarak) and tried to put his buddies the Muslim Brotherhood in political power in Egypt. Then Obama really went stupid and listened to Hillary Clinton and went regime change in Libya and armed Al Qaeda to accomplish that regime change. Then Obama armed Al Qaeda in Syria who would morph into the JV Team aka ISIS.

Barack Obama, Valerie Jarrett, Susan Rice and Hillary Rodham Clinton are textbook examples of dereliction of duty and have a whole lot of American blood on their hands.
