Who else would shoot a Christmas market?
    2+2=4

Moral of the story - don't celebrate Christmas, infidels! Or else...
At least that's what some people think

We had a member from Sweden a few months ago who told us his small town had to stop putting out their big tree to celebrate Christmas because "youth" kept knocking it over. The town had put up a giant tree in the town square since as long as anyone could remember and never had any problems... until just a few years ago. The up-to-no-good teens would knock the tree over, and then the town would have to bring in a big crane to put the tree back upright. Then a few days later the tree would be knocked over again. The town decided it simply wasn't worth having to keep bringing in the crane.

One Christmas tradition that has disappeared in that small town.

Not very improbable it had no small part to do with their contempt for Christmas.

There was a thread not too long ago in the Africa section about a church that had to celebrate Christmas in secret and not put out any decorations outside, so as not to provoke the muslims. The church had already been burnt down several times.

Once again we hear he was 'on the security services radar'. Fat lot of good that did then? What the effing point of having them on the 'radar' if they're going to be allowed to perpetrate an atrocity anyway ffs? :wall:

Here in the US we can be armed to shoot back. That's taken away in France.

Also: They had this dude on a watchlist and couldn't keep him from getting a gun in one of the most high gun control areas on the planet, smack dab in the middle of a CONTINENT of fairly high gun control.

"Here in the US we can be armed to shoot back." Yes, that happens SO often in these cases. Urban myth
Also, we have people on watchlists that also do this, that have mental health issues that get guns. What's your point.

Authorities are saying that he attacked randomly with a "pistol" and a knife. I doubt that the grenade at his home is a real device, probably a replica or hollowed out shell.

So do you want the liberal gun banner organization's number for defensive gun uses (1million or so) or the pro gun rights organization's number for defensive gun uses (2 million or so)?

Are you suggesting all Muslims should be arrested even when they haven’t committed a crime?

A casual review of history makes it fairly clear that France itself became something of a deranged, "zombie" country when its armies lost the Battle of Waterloo in 1815 -- 203 years ago.... Countless reasons have been given... countless books have been written.

And when you mash all the 'air bubbles' out of it, what we see is a France that hasn't been been anything but a haughty, negligent, pile of hopelessly corrupt, overly-socialistic SH*T ever since.

Will the French ever 'wake up'...? Why would they? They only things they ever exert themselves in the least for involve bitching, corruption, decay, and ruin. They can always continue to 'lean on' the Germans... until the Germans get damned sick and tired of it....

Après nous le déluge ... France? Yeah, without the slightest doubt! :lonely:

That depends, is France going to continue treating them as second class citizens and discriminating against them, keeping them poor and disadvantaged?

Oh, so if they were only treated right, and all their demands pacified, there wouldn't be any problems?
That's the same type of thinking the Obama Administration had behind the Benghazi attacks. If we only hadn't shown that video...

This is France. Muslims have it as good as it gets there. It's not going to get any better.

40 years ago Barack Obama was only 17 years old and wasn't a community organizer.
But then again, Barack didn't surf while smoking dope in Hawaii 40 years ago.

40 years ago France was still a nationalist country and had strict immigration policies and bad hombres weren't welcomed in France.

Radicalism in France is driven by the prison population. The prison population is a result of poverty and a lack of opportunities that Muslims face because of discrimination within French culture.

Should I instead recognize your well educated opinion on this when you thought Strasbourg is in Paris?

Does France have enough wealth and opportunities to give to all these people?
Keep in mind more and more keep coming every year. The entire Muslim World.

You'd think the bataclan massacre would of showed france it's gun control measures are far from a guarantee of safety.

    France in a nutshell:

Most French people say there are too many foreigners in France, immigrants do not make an effort to assimilate and Islam is incompatible with the French values.

France cannot keep supporting a population that doesn't integrate and contribute to the bottom line of the economy. France is in serious trouble.

With Russia massing troops and equipment on the Ukraine border and the rest of Europe at odds on how to handle their financial and security issues, it's becoming a powder keg.

The entire Muslim world is not coming to France.

Apparently your ignorance is not limited to the location of Strasbourg.

You're right. Put some quotas on immigration to make sure that the migrants who do come here have enough opportunities and won't turn into troublemakers.

If only the African colonies most of France’s Muslim population comes from had put a quota on the number of French people allowed to enter their countries and despoil their resources for centuries.

France is reaping what its legacy of imperialism has sowed.
