You must not have read my entire post. I also said "The poor could easily be subsidized for a free bus ride."

You seem to have ignored that part.

    Require? Or want?

Strictly speaking the only time a woman "requires" an abortion is when her life is in danger. At that point the hospital is involved and they can safely provide the abortion.

So I ask, what does "require" mean to you?

Most don't believe in welfare, so that wont happen.
Otherwise, this abortion thing would be a non issue.

So walk me through your logic where a fetus from rape is different than a fetus from consensual sex - wasn't the whole
conservative mantra that it's a "child" from conception?

So it is your belief that you can just pretend like bus rides would not be subsidized because you made the statement "most don't believe in welfare"?

LOL....That is preposterous. It is downright silly. This would no more be welfare than is Planned Parenthood, and in truth they could easily transfer the Planned Parenthood money in those states to bussing for the poor, which would save a bundle. Even if somehow the government failed to act (which they most certainly would), it could be subsidized privately. For all of the Democrats that are acting like this would be the end of the world, it would take a tiny amount of money to make this a "non-issue" as you chose to put it.

It is different because prosecuting women for abortions of those conceived from rape (a very, very small number at most) would make if much more difficult to stop other abortions.

So, only at the time that the woman's life is in danger....?

Once again we see where conservatives think abortion lives in this bubble where only women who are sex addicts seek abortions and
only for the wrong reasons ... no second thoughts for the unintended consequences that were the reasons behind
Roe v Wade in the first place. I suggest they go back and actually read the Opinions by the Justices who weighed in on
    that case.

You realize only about 20% of rapes are reported - mainly because of the repercussions to women who tries to take a rapist to court. It's truly ugly.

Babies are not a tiny amount of money. The only thing that would happen is there would be more unwanted births. More unloved children running around causing chaos.
You have no basis to assume subsidized caravans of buses would travel the countryside picking up poor mothers. That idea is preposterous, especially in America where nothing is free.

The decision may hurt the RP a bit, but so long as abortion is available in many states probably not all that much.
The RP in states that want to ban all abortions may lose some support, but their candidates have already won on an anti-abortion platform without any pro-abortion support.

Of course I have a basis, and it would not require the undertaking that you are implying. For crying out loud, there are not that many indigent mothers out there. Most of them reside in the inner cities and surely one or two buses per week in an inner-city would suffice. It would no doubt be FAR cheaper than running a Planned Parenthood Clinic.

It is the OBVIOUS solution. Stop playing dumb.

Pregnancy itself puts a woman's life in danger.
Having such a silly stipulation will only put men at risk of false accusations. If you are going to have such a broad exclusion, then you may as well not have one as only a woman can determine if sex should end in pregnancy. If she needs to claim rape to regain her life, she will be incentivized to do that. That is not a good idea.
A good idea is to just let woman have their right to body autonomy.

The obvious solution to poor people in a state where abortion were illegal being able to get one in another state is to subsidize bussing for such. It would be FAR less expensive than running a Planned Parenthood Clinic.

Stop playing dumb and acting as if a solution cannot be found.

So, since there is possibility of death in any pregnancy resulting in death from complications, any and all pregnancies.

No you took what I posted far beyond what I intended. I was referencing the Declaration's statement of rights and only rights. Read the prior sentence again for reference:

For example, I'm an atheist so the only "creators" are parents and they certainly don't endow rights to their children. A woman has autonomous rights to her body, period, end of story.

Then women (and men that are supposed to support them) better get with the program and report sexual assaults.

That would be better for everyone don't you think?

No, pregnancy itself does not put a woman's life in danger. You're taking it to the extreme.

You're taking it to the extreme. The vast majority of pregnancies are no threat to a woman's life.

I documented crime scenes for 9 years - what a woman has to go through to report a rape is not pretty. Would you volunteer to be raped and then go through
the entire process (medical exam, court case that can last over a year) to prove that women have nothing to worry about?

And my post only addressed the Rights talked about in the DoI and what one of the signatories to the DoI, Constitution, and was a SCOTUS Judge views on abortion.

It's not in my mind, it's in the 10th Amendment. Nowhere in Article III is it stated that the Supreme Court has the power to interpret the Constitution. The 10th Amendment prohibits the federal government from assuming or exercising powers not specifically granted by the Constitution.

I never, never never said "women have nothing to worry about" did I?

You are deliberately saying insulting things.

    Trolling that is.
