This just in: From Wikipedia: Hmm. I wonder why the Obama Administration didn't take action back in 2010? Democrats controlled Washington at that time. Personally, I'm good with this and I applaud President Trump for doing so.
The NRA approves the restriction of bump stocks so Trump's move is just a mountain high load of virtual nothing. He had to ask the NRA permission for a ban on bump stocks.
Did I say that they were a government agency? NO I did not but I thought that you would know that.,!! You do know that so why are you posting such a stupid statement ? The NRA has one hell of a lot influence as a lobbying power so ig dies not have to be a government agency.m
Except for a small slice of hobbyists the general public and I bet most of Congress did not know backnten that bump stocks even existed.
Here is a Truism that everyone needs to learn th: bump stocks do not make that much of a diference in enhancing the rate of fire. Therefore banning them dies not amountbto crap.
Bump stocks have a marginal affect on the rate of fire. You do understand that marginal means a little, right?
the NRA isn't even in the top 20 in spending on Lobbying or campaign contributions https://www.opensecrets.org/lobby/index.php
The evidence us in the logic. The restrictions on bump stocks was the one action that the NRA agrees with so that is the same as them granting Trump permission to ask for a possible ban on bump stocks.
Your finger and a belt loop can bumpfire a weapon. You can make a trigger crank with $10 in parts from Home Depot. The only thing a bump stock will do is make you miss and cause the weapon to fail faster. This, like most gun laws, are completely useless: a solution in search of a problem.
The NRA does not just put money into lobbing efforts they also will put money into primaries to try and remove politicians who to not tie the line.
