What insults and attacks are you referring to? Where did I insult and attack you?

Then why was I not allowed to carry a gun in public when I was part of the state militia? We're my rights violated?

To be in the militia one merely needs to be male and age 18-45.

    Supreme Court seems to disagree.

they have rejected a total of 4 AWB cases, after Heller.

being in the Militia does not mean you are on active Militia duty, as per the US Constitution.

The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

I was a person and a member of the state militia. I was also previously active duty military. Since when is the people defined as the militia?

The 2A isn't there to protect the government's right to bear arms.

Who defines the every duties of the militia? Show me in 10 USC 311 where those duties and membership are limited to "active duty", whatever that means. Are you aware that a significant portion of military training is individual training?

Congress has the authority to call up The Militia to put down insurrection and restore order during times of emergency. It is within this context that folks have the right to carry firearms in public.

The Militia, according to Federal Law, is all able-bodied men age 18-45 and Veterans up to age 55.

That's the militia defined as the people. The people have RTKBA. Women and old folks are people too.

the 2nd Amendment is not clear.

One could logically and rationally believe that "bear arms" means to carry and use arms outside the home during times of war or insurrection, not simply to protect yourself at Walmart or Trader Joes.

if this was true, SCOTUS would have accepted at least one of the 4 AWB cases that they have rejected 7 to 2.

btw, the same SCOTUS that approved Heller and McDonald ALSO rejected an AWB case. That should tell you something.

You could believe anything you want, and apparently do. That doesn’t make it so.

Heller and McDonald were decided 5 to 4.

preceding AWB cases were rejected 7 to 2.

Only Scalia and Thomas voted to hear the cases.

    that tells us something.

You didn't. I can say you are quite likely the most middle-of-the-road guy here; I don't agree with you on everything but I can respect the way you comport yourself.

Ron responds by reflex and rote; if you question anything he says, he finds that an insulting attack. He will lash out and rage at anyone who tells him his irrationalities aren't inarguable fact.

Thank you. The respect is mutual.

And it does seem he is that way. He doesn't even have the guts to reply back to me.

Yeah, it does.... just not what you think it does.

It tells us that Scalia and Thomas were the principled ones. Alito and Roberts lean pro-gun but weren't sure of the outcome of an AWB case with Kennedy on the court to possibly side with the antigunners, so they sent it back down without review in hopes a better case would come along.

Once Kavanaugh is confirmed, the USSC quite likely will not be sending AWB cases back to the lower courts. I am looking forward to the definitive ruling I believe is ultimately coming; a ruling I think is going to ruin your day, Ron.
