Call me 'a cynic', but I couldn't help but notice how Project Fear got cranked up again when Johnson let the cat out of the bag that he's up for the job.

Yes, I saw that article. A bit more

    https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2018/sep/29/britain-bill-brexit-hits-500-million-pounds-a-week

Some irony there in that research indicates that in areas worst hit by austerity measures people were more prone to vote leave and, well they say, this would all be over now had they not voted for Brexit.

    Yawn.

    More lies from Project Lies.

Boo hoo to all those who lost the referendum.
Please cry your salty tears into your soup.

I expect you still to be crying in 30 years time. I hope so. You deserve it.

I also think that it's ironic that the sorts of things that were being blamed on teeming hordes of immigrants, like pressure on local services, were primarily caused by the "austerity" measures.

Interesting that those who lost the first referendum have been crying about it and trying to change it from 1975, now they have won the second referendum they want that to be the final one!

Only 36 more years to wait mate.

Enjoy your campaigning for the next one.
I think you will spend the rest of your life moaning and feeling cheated.
    Just as you deserve.

"Austerity measures" for Health Care? Hasn't been happening?

The UK will pay the price - the French authorities are "thankful" for the horde of Polish doctors/nurses that are seeking jobs in France.

Thank you, the UK! Thank you, thank you, thank you. These people are really 'n truly needed here in France ... !

    GOODSIDE & BAD SIDE

Some people must learn the hard-way. For instance, the knucklehead who insisted on this referendum. (Where is he nowadays? Hiding under a bedsheet?)

Anyway, for the moment, the consequences have both a good and a bad side (from here):
    *The Bad Side
Brexit can do no good whatsoever for the UK in terms of GDP. Quite the opposite is happening, in fact.
Note the decline. It aint nice!

    *The Good Side
BUT, the UK has been increasing new job-creations:

    However this from the BofE
    MY POINT

Meaning this: "We shall see." For as long as UK employment remains solid with a low unemployment rate of only 4.2%, then the sacred ground of GDP is NOT SHAKING.

Will that continue in the UK? Time will tell. Because the Brexit effect of adding import duties upon EU trade has not yet kicked-in. But, this is the factual evidence so far (from here):
Time will tell. It always does ...
