Jesus, what an unholy pig's arse May has made of this; who isn't sick of the words 'Brexit' and 'deal' after hearing them every bloody day for that last 2 effing years? If she'd been more assertive from the outset instead of fudging, propitiating the crafty bureaucrats, and being deluded by all their flattery, we could be out by now. No wonder this country is descending into anarchy when the political classes and so obsessed by ****ing Brexit that they've forgotten about everything else. If only, by some miracle, Nigel Farage was able to take the reins, he'd have us out by next weekend!

I'd like to believe it, but we'll need a radical change in our politics before it will happen. I read this morning that the Plod's in meltdown now - not that they'll be missed very much!

I don't think a deal is politically possible and any one they manage to force through will be both anti democratic and bad for us economically.
The country has voted to end the deal.
Negotiating a new one is not only an act of bad faith, it's all but impossible.

Too divided a country to unite over this.

Personally....... I disagree.......... as you know I am a Theist and I am of the
firm belief that an off the scale powerful intellect / Intellect / Intellects.... have evolved.......
in fundamental or nearly fundamental energy...... and they are all set up to
bring humanity together............. seemingly out of impossible division..........

If....... our educated elite............. or aspiring blue collar intellectuals.... will openly
and courageously compare...... chapter 13 of Stephen Hawking's Universe.... with
what was shown to the late near death experiencer and Atheist Mellen Thomas Benedict.......
Atheists and spiritual people will be able to communicate with each other and we can unite
    on some important issues..........
that can cause a seemingly impossible level of unity to come about in less than five years?!

A truly brilliant Atheist once told me that my ideas on Theistic Evolutionary Theory are
considered to be a branch of Atheism.... by the Elite Atheists........
This is definitely NOT in line with Orthodox Christian Theology... that is for certain.......

Yes, I do know, and without intending to be unkind, I've always found that theists are innocent in matters of worldly importance, almost to the point of being ingenuous. They have their heads in the clouds, as it were?

Your assessment of our tendency toward ignorance.........
is fully in agreement with a prediction by Rabbi Yeshua - Jesus who I suspect may have had a near death experience based on Matthew chapter 4.

Luke 16:8 "And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light."

The Apostle Paul sure seemed to be in agreement with Rabbi Yeshua - Jesus in his observations of this same tendency?

I Corinthians 1:26 "For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wisemen after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:"
