For one reason the Special Counsel law says he issue his CONFIDENTIAL report to the AG he does not report to Congress. Also as he demonstrated he was not that up on his own report. And as much as they apparently struggled they could not find a crime and his statement that "well the fact we couldn't find one but that doesn't mean there wasn't one" was totally inappropriate and out of bound for a prosecutor to issue. You could smear anyone with a statement like that.
What you and the rest of my friends on the Right have to realize is that most of our friends on the Left never cared. I was a rep for an NGO in a local civil rights alliance that sought to address the problems in the Patriot Act after it was first passed and I can tell you that a majority of the Lefties were there just because they hated George W. Bush and wanted to stick a finger in his eye. They didn't give a **** about civil rights and they didn't represent the human and civil rights groups that had been addressing these issues and lobbying public officials long before 9/11 happened. These "progressive" johnny-come-latelies from radical LW wacktivist groups suddenly appeared out of the woodworks with their phony pretenses when they saw an opportunity to bash Bush and that's all those poseurs were ever about. It was all bullshit from the start. Now my RW friends ask "where are all these people"? The answer is they were never really there in the first place.
