Are we trying to say that somehow same sex couples aren’t part of normal society like drug addicts if I read your response correctly?

Through Cathy’s WinShape Foundation, CFA has donated to these organizations as recent as 2017 according to tax filings. The Foundation is also said to bat same sex couples from participating in its marriage retreats. Something about this would argue it’s corporate culture is not that inclusive.

You talk about this stuff as though it's super terrible. Like some kind of distilled evil.

    Are you melting?

Chick-Fil-A is closed on Sundays ... does that harm you?

    What a strange post.

The food is good for fast food, and the locally owned one down the street from my house treats their employees really, really well. I couldn't care less that they are closed on Sundays.

Uh, both sides get boycott happy. And it isn't attacking someone's business to stop patronizing it.

I give Chick-fil-a my business every time I drive into town. Great place, great people, great food, great service. A well managed business that is always crowded with customers. It's easy to see why they are Number One. I really like their ice cream cones and chicken sandwiches. If they want to close on Sunday that is fine with me. Some restaurants close on Monday and that is also fine with me. If they are against same sex marriages that is fine with me. If they want to be a Christian that is fine with me. There are some places I will not go but I would never try to influence others from going there. Anyone calling for a boycott of Chic-fil-a needs to take a long look in the mirror.

Well, you know, if you put on a marriage retreat and you don't believe marriage can apply to those engaged in aberrant sexual relationships, then it makes sense they would restrict the marriage retreat to those engaged in normal relationships, and are married. The foundation is separate from the corporation. Like the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation is separate from Microsoft.

What do you mean "PUSHING" religious beliefs? As in pushing them onto people? What the hell is wrong with closing on Sundays?

Has there been a case where a job applicant was refused employment for ANY reason? Or is this prediction just utterly baseless?

    What law?

Any evidence AT ALL that Chick-fil-A does NOT accept people from all backgrounds?

Yes, because the 2012 boycott worked so well! :roflol: It only resulted in the TRIPLING of Chick-fil-A's profits after OVERWHELMING support! :roflol:

Hence why I'm calling for more boycotts, so that they only become MORE successful, judging by the PATHETIC and LAUGHABLE 2012 boycott, which was a TOTAL FAILURE! :roflol:

Exactly the more they boycott something like good food, the more people want to try it and its fries surpass wendy's fries of the 1990s .

(Wendy's made a huge mistake, so did Burger King with there french fries, taste like poop now)

They are made from chicken breast that's all I need to know. The only edible part of the chicken is leg and thigh.

Actually the mindset presented here is the most perfect American one there is. Note what they are not doing. They are not calling for laws and government enforcement. They are calling for social pressure to encourage change on behalf of the company. It's the same social pressure that conservatives say should be used on bakeries that are refusing to sell for same sex weddings, and that said bakeries (among other businesses )should be allowed to legally discriminate.

And that is exactly what should be happening. We should not be calling for laws that prevent a business owner from exercising their religious beliefs in their privately owned business (liberal view) nor should we be calling for laws that limit people's consentual interactions with each other such as same sex marriage bans or bans on any given sexual activity (conservative views). Our laws should be about preventing actual non consentual acts against others.

I fail to see what this has to do with anything since there are hundreds of thousands of businesses that close on various days of the week and year, for various reasons. I suppose we should be boycotting every business that closes on Christmas day as well?

Did you mean that it's only a matter of time, or that it has happened? Given the number of LBGT people who already work there, I don't foresee this being a real case. I do foresee an LBGT individual not getting hired and trying to claim such, but they'll be that type that walks into the interview, and says they'll need an immediate day off in the middle of the week.

Why? Businesses are private institutions, not public one. Owners should be deciding if they want that separate or not, and customers then get to decide if they will give their money to them or not.

Could you be more specific on this? I have no idea what you are talking about, and thus probably don't have enough to do an effective search.

So is the Ratpublican. But both can have good candidates, mostly on the state and local levels though. I personally never look at the letter behind the name, so I have voted both and various third party candidates as well.

And this is what is wrong with politics today. One or the other. Let's work together to stamp out anything other than our polarized views. How dare someone be for fiscial responsibility AND same sex marriage!

Red herring. The status of the food has nothing to do with the practices of Chick-fil-A. If it was a health issue that you were worried about, then you'd be calling for a boycott of all fast food, not just one specific business.

As long as a company complies with all laws we should leave them alone and let them run their business the way they prefer. You like the company then you should be able to conduct business with them without being bullied. You don't like the company you have the right to ignore them.
